Yes, that will work. Preferably start with 2 gallons of distilled water. The hydroguard plus EWC will make a good tea, but if you can find a product with tricoderma fungi it will be even better. While your waiting for it to brew, rinse as much gunk off your roots as you can. Don't be afraid to be a little aggressive when spraying, and remove any roots that look too far gone. Now, make a new res with nutes and add some hydroguard directly to it to get things started. When the tea is done add it to the res, 1 cup per gallon, making sure to pour some over the base of the plant as well.

If you have some lava rocks or something similar lying around you can toss them into the tea while it's brewing and transfer them to the res after two days. This will give them an additional home to live in while they colonize the roots.

You can use some roots excel in your tea to give it a boost, but don't try adding it directly to the res again until you have plenty of microbes inhabiting your roots. Make sure you are not putting anything else organic in your res, and no enzymes. Get the temps down, and watch for new white growth.

Yep spot in your plants will love you for it better uptake of nutes u will use less nutes and the microbes help make the roots super happy the roots will take off like crazy which means crazy growth as well trust me I am new to it but soon as ubstart using it you won't wanna stop

Google "ice prope chiller" , you will need to convert to a square bucket to be able to use this. It will keep your water anywhere between 66-68f (with an ambient air temp of 85f). I always PH my water to 5.5 before I add my nutes (flouraduo A and Flouraduo B, hydroguard) and the PH always settles at 5.8-6.0. I don't use an Air pump. Google "venturi water pumps" it will oxygenate the water as well as circulate it at the same time, its almost silent too. I think its much better than air stones.

Never heard of the ice probe chiller. Thanks for the heads up. About half what a 1/10 chiller costs.

Hi Guys quick up date,

i cut back on the nutrients dropped the enzymes completely and noticed a massive difference i had them at 800ppm with h202, the last 2 weeks i up'd the nutes to 1000ppm and took away the h202 but over the past week I,ve noticed a problem starting again. Leaf drop and discolouring at the tips its like there turning to leather and noticed some faint blotchy leaves i checked the ppm earlier in the week and it was rising but they are drinking so i have assumed, over feeding, i ditched the res and ran at 500ppm now for with no improvement, they have out grown the space now as well miscalculated the stretch a good 2-3 foot, if anyone has any advice to help solve this deficency and help get a result it would be much appreciated i don't want to loose these girls.

Some strains do better with a more moderate ppm in the 650-850 range so I would probably say go back to what it was when it was growing better. As for the height you may be outta luck. Maybe try to bend them a little and tie it to an anchor point so it is more diagonal in the tent. It is sometimes hard to predict how tall they will end up being which really comes into play growing in a tent.

Yup you just experienced what most have, to many, to big lol. Now you get to try your hand at super cropping .

On the leaf stuff it looks like you have burn't them from the bulb or splashed some water on them. Also looks like N overdose in some of the pics. As pointed out above a lot of times less is more. i try to stay between 500-700 on most my stuff.

I would have another look at your roots, if there all good then I would look else where. And as said I to have had better luck keeping things on the lower end of the scale. I run 1.2-.4 EC in full stretch and beyond, tapering off near the last week but not much.

The white in the leaves could very well be the light burning them a bit. Did you get it figured?
