Newbie!!

Ok so guys thanks in advance!! First time grower been around weed for a long time but never got around to growing. Pretty much tryin to grow 1 personal plant. The delema is that i live in a one room apartment and dont want to reek it up, just cause i sometimes have people over and dont want them in my buisness. So will one plant do that much damage or will the smell be minimal and if it is what can i do about it

Also what would i need for a small grow like that and a good spot to buy some seeds?

ohh and btw i plan to do this in a closet

For odor control get a scrubber

when I had people over at my apartment they just assumed I smoked some pot before they came in. Most can't tell the difference between pot growing and pot smoked unless they've grown it them selves. What you do is take packing tape, fold it in a little less than half way so its still sticky, then stick it to the door so it flaps over the cracks. Do this to the door to the room and the door to the hallway and you won't have any smell outside your flat.

Or you can buy one of those odor neutralizing air fresheners for about $5 at the hardware store. That should be more than enough for 1 plant.

Thanks for the feedback ill probably go with a good Air Purifier and just incase thats not enouph ill buy a couple ClenAir Odor Neutralizing Air Freshener. Now i know ima need lights pots soil and all that good stuff but what would be ideal and energy sufficiant for a small grow like im tryin to do?

Nusky prob is that some of the people i have over sometimes are fam trying to keep them from snooping around looking for shit. Thats why right now im limited to doing only one plant, cuz i know its not going to reek as bad as doing 2 or more

took a look at that looks like itll work but there huge and mad expensive unless im looking and the wronge stuff!

I grew 1 big bud x skunk #1 and my WHOLE apartment smelled. I even vented from my closet to the bathroom and out through the bathroom exhaust and the whole apartment still smelled like pot. I really don't think theres a way around a carbon filter at all.

A fan will cost you about $150 depending, the carbon filter should be about $200 but honestly if you're growing constantly, even 1 plant and you get 2 ounces off that plant, you paid for your filter and your fan. Probably even more depending on where you live

The fan will last 5-10 years and the filter will last about a year of constant use.

I live in a 1 bedroom condo and I am growing 2 WW. Believe you me, it is going to smell. Do yourself a favor and get a carbon filter and a fan. I recommend the Phresh Filter. It works great and won't break the bank.

You should also look into getting a strain that doesn't give off a strong odor.
