You live in a dream land my friend... Gandhi himself would tell you this, for at least he understood that bad people had to die in order for good people to live in peace.

On another note, we are not forcing anything down anyone's throat... the Libyan people cried out for help from the world and we're giving it to them, I believe this is a pro-bono operation, think what you may.
Were getting rid of Gaddafi so they can be free like America, They've been crying out for our help and thats all were here to do is help. You can't let him attack his own citizens.

It was the U.N's decision to do this, although senator Kerry and others wanted for us to do this it is the U.N that ultimately made the call, this is the first time the U.N has done anything like this, they just dont give a fuck anymore and openly push their agenda without anyone's say. They need to place their new puppet dictator in power.

what i dont get, is why they dont just send some special forces in there to assinate gaddafi and his top officials?

instead of just bombing the whole country to heck and back.

2 week trip or months of war followed with years of local unrest (people aint so happy about bombs)
Exactly!!!!!

I mean.. why spend all this money.. that we DO NOT have?!?! Just do it the old school way!! You know what I'm saying??

What I mean by the old school way.. well, I'm talking about how they did things in the past. All they have to do.. is send in a few special ops. First.. they need to find out exactly where Daffy Duck is.. then give the coordinates to the special ops team.. and let them go incognito.. sneak up.. and put one right between his eyes. BAM! Done. Problem delt with.. and then we wouldn't have to worry about this shit any longer.

I mean, sending in ground troops and all this other shit.. isn't going to go over well with the citizens of the U.S.
We're already in big enough debt.. we do not need to spend the money on this!! It's not even worth the money!!

Here's another good idea for Obama. Simply call in your best of the best marine snipers. Send them out to where Daffy Duck is.. and let them take him out. As soon as mission is completed.. then pull the snipers out.. and bring them back home. Problem fucking solved.. period.

Now.. would that give the U.S. a bad image? Eh, it could.. but considering the options we currently have.. and the possibility of sending ground troops over there.. I think the sniper or the special ops team idea.. is much better.. and more economical than spending all the money to start another fucking war.

I'm telling ya.. IMO.. I think Mr. Obama is the anti-Christ. He's the devils advocate.. he works for the devil. Either that.. or he IS the devil!!! He needs to be impeached or taken out by other means.. just mo though.

peace.

I'll remember these words... 6 months from now.. when we're still fighting over there. ;)

It's nice to think pleasant thoughts like that.. but no. It's not going to be over within a few days. Your dreaming..

peace.

Attention , Socialists, communists, globalists- the U.S. doesn't answer to the U.N. we don't need to ask their permission or follow their orders on anything. the U.S.A. is an independant and sovereign nation.. It was our decision to do this.

OH WAIT thought we had a constitution...........MY BAD

A number of Democratic and Republican lawmakers are concerned about the White House's air assault on Libya, but Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) raised the rhetoric to 11 on Monday, suggesting President Obama should be impeached.
"President Obama moved forward without Congress approving. He didn't have Congressional authorization, he has gone against the Constitution, and that's got to be said," Kucinich said in an interview with Raw Story. "It's not even disputable, this isn't even a close question. Such an action -- that involves putting America's service men and women into harm's way, whether they're in the Air Force or the Navy -- is a grave decision that cannot be made by the president alone."
According to Kucinich, Obama's decision "would appear on its face to be an impeachable offense," though he questioned whether Congress would ever move forward with a trial in practice.
As reported earlier by Politico, Kucinich raised the specter of impeachment in a conference call with Democratic lawmakers on Saturday.
Presidents have initiated many military conflicts without congressional approval since World War II, including President Clinton's air assault on the Milosevic regime in Serbia in 1999, President Bush's intervention in Somalia in 1992, and President Reagan's own attack on Qaddafi in 1986. The War Powers Act -- passed in reaction to the Vietnam War and mostly ignored by Presidents since then -- requires the president to inform Congress that he is committing U.S. forces abroad within 48 hours and to request approval within 60 days.

You know I would be sweatin this a few months ago but as of 2 weeks ago I am no longer a contracted member of the US armed forces. I got one of these in the mail the other day (Note "this is not mine, it would be stupid to post my own)

I have one of those also from about two years ago...But I did 23 years and retired. That puts me in the "Retired Reserves" so they "could" recall me back in at anytime for life. It is part of the deal for retiring and keeping the pension and medical and stuff.
I wonder if they would turn their heads one the piss test I am sure I would get :)
I just wish instead of using our expensive as hell cruise missiles they would use the old gravity bombs with the laser guided attatchments to make them into cheaper than missiles guided bombs. Drop those from bombers and save the expensive missiles.
During the 1st gulf war they shot off so many cruise missiles they were running out of them.

Was this constitutional amendment in the Bill of Rights?
