What our govt did... yes, but that was 60 years ago, we're not still making colored folks work in the sugar fields.

From an article about the pilots who had to bail out of their F15 earlier today due to mechanical problems:

And that is what it is all about... these people asked for help and the world offered it... I'm proud of our coalition forces for taking actions against Gaddafi.

Wonder where we ourselves would be if the French didn't answer our cry for help in the Revolutionary War... a response that also ignited their own revolution!

and wasnt talking about slavery.......taling about the killing and hangings ..................so after 60 years its ok............hitler was ok cause it happened long ago.......................IM just stateing as humans we are fucked and always will have a Hitler or a Kadafi somewhere in the world.........time to help our own and Pay the Chines off so we can have our country back................hugs.............not being rude just saying how I see it and not being mean..................tough to express on internet....especally with my failure in gramar LOL....................but thats what I see......

we dont need our troops on the ground anywhere ,
what we should do is let all these countrys vote for a groverment
and if its sum crazy guy trying to buy nukes off ebay we shoot him in the head and tell them to vote again .

The problem with that is the fact that we, and several other nations possess nukes. Our leaders are arguably crazier then Gaddafi....

Isn't the fact that we're putting others before our selves one of the greatest testaments of human character?

I understand that we cannot afford the attack per say... but really we're so far in debt that this is just a drop in the bucket, I think that drop in the bucket is worth helping the Libyan people and repairing slowly our relationship with Muslims and the Arabic people in general.

I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger, today! ;-)

Well at least the USA arnt fabricating events like they did with Gulf of Tonkin (Vietnam war) and
WMD's (Iraq) to invade this time.

Obama is getting is Nobel Peace prize stripped away by the way, or in the process of being stripped.
