Night Cycle?

I have my light cycle set up so the only times I can water is when the light is off(I know it sounds dumb but its for other reasons). They are a week into flowering and everytime I go into the room I turn on a little back light to help me water and not mess up. I know that light leaks can cause hermies and stuff but what about a turning on another light during the dark cycle for just a minute or so?

I would not do it. I think you should either get a green light or change your hours.

whats a green light? is a green shade easier on the plants during the night cycle?

ya they can't really use the green spectrum so you can buy a green light and do whatever with them while the lights are off without much damage

where can a find a green light? can i just get one with a cover on it like at a party store?

i found mine at walmart during christmas...its a green flood light...havent had issues with hermies or anything
