thought id post a quick update. a little over 4 weeks in flowering down. hope to do 6 more then cut them down...im a little dissapointed in the AK's. theyre nice and tall but have thin buds compared to the ICE plants. not to mention the hashplant is really small compared to the other nirvana plants. oh well...heres a shot of an ice plant at 4 weeksView attachment 898309View attachment 898308View attachment 898310

ok so on the 28th of this month it will put these plants into its 9th week of flowering. nirvana's website shows these should be flowering for 9-11 weeks. so im thinking on week 9 i should start flushing and week 11 i should chop them down? is that right? how do i tell when its a good time to start flushing?

have updated this in a while but thought id post an update. i chopped the hashplant last week and tried to smoke a joint with it today before curing. well the joint wouldnt stay lit which means too much nutrients or still not dry enough. im gonna dry it another week and then cure it. overall i am not satisfied with the smoke its too stoney/lazy/sleeper weed. i was kind of hoping for funny/giddy weed. i was disappointed with the yeild also. the last pic is the entire plant chopped. i think i was sent the wrong seed because the aks and ice plants were almost 3 times the size of the hashplant. im thinking this was a low ryder of some sort because it had no sativa characteristics.

Good harvest mate Sorry to hear about the high not what you were shooting for =/ Still everything looks well. Next grow maybe you can try some growing techniques like lst, topping, etc To try and maximize yields. Btw any ideas on next grow strain? If you want high yeilds of potent product, I would try High grade seeds...they put off 2-4 ounces per plant when vegged 5 weeks. Still one of my top seedbanks compared to all the over-rated ones on here everybody uses

have you hung them in your tent to dry with inline fan on? get a 400 dual spec hps, veg them for 2 weeks then go 12-12, you should pull 10 per plant....max 6 plants...choose decent strains, dont need to veg for long........its how i do it, one plant i just cropped was 10 oz done 12-12 from seed

Nice job bro. Good to see someone else growing the Nirvana 'Ice' strain.. besides just me. I've got two going right now (I only grow for personal use). They're both only on day 26 of flowering.. but they're doing great. Even the smaller one (the runt of the two).. she's doing good too. Here's a couple of pics of both plants..
You have any advice for me?? for the Nirvana Ice strain? anything to watch out for further into flowering?? This is the first time I've tried growing this strain.. so I'm looking for any advice that your willing to give me. Excellent job man..!
Sorry, some of the pictures are blurry.. as I still had the HPS lights going when I took the pictures. These are the most up to date pics I have currently.. they're from last Friday's 'grow update' from my grow journal.

im not sure if im even going to do another grow to be honest...the hashplant was such a huge disappointment. sure it was free but something is up with it...im gonna try drying the bud i have now for 1 1/2-2 weeks then curing them in the car...see how they end up...if i get more of the same shit with these strains i might just buy at the local dispensory and pack away my grow gear until some other time(maybe when its legal here in cali in nov). i wish i could figure out the joint not staying lit at least...the bud is almost crispy like...so its kinda hard to imagine its still not dry yet...but we'll see. its kinda hard to figure out because when i chopped them they were resinous AS FUCK and smelled great. but once they dry the resin is nearly gone and the bud cant stay lit....
ive smoked ice before and it smelled awesome, kinda like fruity pebbles and the ice i have hanging from the tent smells nothing like it to be honest.
ganjaluvr, the plant was really easy to grow. just feed them once and week and you'll be good. ive read they finish at around 60-63 days. i flowered mine for 6 weeks and flushed the last 2 weeks. ill update this thread again with a smoke report once they are finished drying.
p.s. im kinda glad i did not get a 400w, it gets hot here during the summer and i dont think i could get away with a summer grow under a 400. the yeild i got from the 250 is WAYYYY more then i really need.

You have to remember about phenos though.... I bet you got a bad pheno of the hashplant and was just unlucky. The ice also might just need a long,long cure time... I've had buds that smelled like hay 1 week after drying. Then after a 5 week cure the buds smelled skunky with a hint of fruits. The curing made all the difference. not to mention the smoke was heavenly and taking the fattest rips felt like breathing in normal air... soo smooth. You should try one more grow though man! It would only be waaay better and have way better end results since you have 1 under your belt. ANyways enough high rambling from me =D Hope all goes well for you

Anytime =] Jillybean and serious bubble are some killer strains I would die for those haha So you know Attitude and Speedy have OG Kush and OG kush 18 in stock. If I were you, I'd grab some while they got them.
