What's up everyone! Starting off '09 with a bang let's get started, shall we?
The Game Plan - Grow as much weed outdoors as physically possible with the least amount of work!
Strain - Unfortunately on this one were going with bag seed. However, these seeds are only from the dankest shit I've smoked, non of that $20-$35 a bags shit.
Soil - Mostly MG top soil with out the time release mixed about 60/40 with peat moss, sphagnum at that. This is just a lot of what I had left over from last year so I'm going to use it up as fast as possible.
Nutes - Haven't ordered them yet but I'm torn between Blue Mountain Organics full line or Technaflora Recipe for Success. Right now I'm leaning more twords BMO, last season I used BioBizz and GreenFuse both great products but I want the complete package and that is what BMO is all about.
Container Size - After Germination they were put in solo cups, then 1 Gal. containers until they are put outside. Once outside they will be placed directly into the soil for maximum growth, thinking about mixing peat and perlite into local topsoil. The soil in New England is great but it could use a little fluffing up. In areas that are more wet, I'll be placing them in 5 Gal. containers.
Indoor lighting - A pretty sick CFL set up me and my buddy made. Got all the parts at home depot, 4-23watt CFL's, plywood, sockets and all that good stuff. I'll post a few pictures of it.
So far I have germinated about 30 seeds and chose 9 of the best looking seedlings and placed them into my topsoil/peat mix. As of now I have only been watering them, it's been just over 2 weeks and I have only had to water them a few times. Since our tap water has chlorine in it I let the water sit for a day or two then use it. The seedlings are still on 24/7, can't find my damn timer from last year... I think I got stoned and hid it on myself...
. Have a little fan blowing on them and the roots have made their way to the bottom of the cups, might be time for a transplant soon.
Hopefully I will get about 4 or 5 females from the 9 seedlings. Once I can sex them the cloning will begin!
P.S.
All question, comments, and advice is welcome and will be greatly appreciated. Like I said before this is my second grow so I know a thing or two but I'm am no pro!
