this is as close as I can get with my camera. My limited knowledge tell's me its not quite ready. Is this close enough to tell or should I get a magnifying glass? Also can I still clone this plant or is it way to late? Thanks in advance.

10 - 14 more days too harvest. ;)

you can clone at any time, but it may not be worth it. i'd say it woulod atke too long to revert that back to veg. it would be best to start fresh. :)

Agree with those times.
Yeh! Get a magnifying glass. Used one today for the first time and i can see why they're rated.

with the pic being so blurry...and no info being given of the genetics..how far along it is...and what type of high your looking for...im not going to just guess on a date...and dont see why anyone would without asking questions first. when its done its done...there is no set guidelines. and dont even pay attention to breeder times.

i recomed just pickin up a x30 magnifier from the hardware store whenever you can it will make your life easier but everyoneelse is tellin ya right 2-3 week imo

the way to tell is when about half of the trichome percentage starts turning like an amberish instead of white but its much easier to see with a magnifier

I just got a 45x LED magnifier from Amazon for 4 dollars, shipped. 2 days with Prime membership. It's made in china but it's awesome!

Thanks all! I'll put the scissors down for about 2 weeks lol, pick up a magnifying glass just wanted to make sure i had time.

So in order to clone, it cant be in flower state?
This was grown outdoor and put in a shed for the 12/12 to induce flowering. I have time to do one more before first frost just no good seeds.

you can clone during flower...research monster cropping...i just wouldnt do it after day 30...most will take them around day 23-25 of flower....will produce some funky monster bushes

Hope it helps

Namaste':peace:

you can clone in flower...some do and refer to this as "monster cropping" due to all the branching the plant does when it reverts back to the vegetation stage

As to the harvest thing might I recommend this usb microscope...it is affordable and you will never need guess again:

I think blah blah blah, and blah blah blah blah...But if you blah blah, then blah...Because I'm blah blah, and not blah-ing to blah but blah blah blah instead...So blah blah, and blah, but never blah blah because blah.

OP, you should probably just get a magnifying glass, then you can become an expert too!!...see what you started?? ;)

EDIT: Not intended to be a factual statement

Boy, I expected to see big-headed, thin-skinned posters on the Corvette website (and there they were) but not on my favorite pot site. Smoke a fatty boys and chill....:)

I discovered a way to see my trichomes without going out and buying a new magnifier. I took an old pair of binoculars unscrewed the lens cap on the small end, took out the lens (it looks like a jewelers eyepeice), then look through it backwards. You have to have it right next to the plant but it works very well. I even put it in front of the lens of my digital camera and took these close up pics.
