they only work if you don't have air exchange in your chamber. the active chemical needs to build up in the grow area to be effective. they do work... if you use them properly. i wouldn't use it late in flowering because the chemical is nasty but if you have mites late in flowering then there isn't much else you can do (besides vacuuming them off every day which is a PITA).

when i use them i'll turn off the exhaust fan in my flowering chamber for 8 hours a couple of times a day and that seems to do the trick. you can then put them in a ziplock until the next time you use it.

i can get by with not running my vent fan at night for 12hrs.
should i just put the no pest stripes in the room for 12hrs at night then take it out for 12hrs in the day. and repeat.
the bad thing is i am about 2 weeks from harvest! but these mites made my plant stop growing, so i dont want to harvest eirly and get premo buds.

yeah, you can just leave them in there when the ventilation is on during the daytime. just know that they won't be effective. i see people put the no pest strips in their grow room with their ventilation on 24/7 and then act suprised when it doesn't do anything for their pest problem. just put it in your room, turn off your ventilation at night for a few days and you should be good.

I recently tried one out after a nasty thrip problem on my last grow. Before I started my current garden, I shut off all airflow to the room and placed a no pest strip in the center of it. Left for about a week, the room smelled strongly of insecticide. That was 6 weeks ago and I haven't seen so much as a fungus gnat in that room. I personally think they work very well, though I'm unsure of their effect on flowering plants.

i bought some strips today. i just bomb my room and ill give it a few days and see what happens. if they come back ill put the strips up.
the problem is during the day it gets too hot in my room so i oopen the door to get cool air flow from my house, so i dont want to smell that stuff all threw my house. so i figure during the day when i have the door open ill put it away, then at night when i close the door ill hang it back up!. i hate to use stuff like this only a few weeks from harvest, but i have no choice, their killing my plants where they wont grow and finish off, and i dont want to waist my whole grow so close to harvest, i have alot of money in this grow and i would take a big hit. so them fu%kers have to die:evil:
