i must have one!

i just got about halfway done pruning off all the lower bullshit on my plants. the white russians are kinda fucked because of all the old reveg shit on them i cut most of it off but i doubt there gunna yield that great and i think they are gunna be tough to control mold on.

damn it sucks thinning everything out, but i know its for the better. all that shit would have been garbage nugs anyway

What should I do in anticipation for heavy branches bending down to the ground or even possibly breaking? A million bamboo stakes is not an option. I know iv seen tressell netting used on large bushes before but wtf then, are you guys like pulling the tressel really tight at the bottom? What's the scoop guys??? I'm new to having big girls
Trellis netting takes time to set up.......I pull individual branches through to their proper location. I don't worry about the bottom because it is quite thick and strong.....the middle is the weak point, because if you trellis the bottom and the tops become top heavy(no pun intended) then the middle of the stems can still snap.......I make a square with 4 stakes around each plant and then wrap them in trellis netting while pulling each top through and zip tying the trellis netting tightly to the stakes......it is a tedious job. I did it to one in the beginning of its "stretch" and it just grew INTO the trellis netting......that is what I will be doing to them all next year......a lot easier and a lot less time consuming.

Thanks Fresno. That's what I'm gunna have to do with some of these bigger girls and next year I will have my tressel on before the August stretch too. I deffinitly am learning a lot this season. This is my first real big outdoor and they should only get better after this. Next year im eather gunna be using 300 gallon smart pots or right into the ground, and I'll be starting supplemental lighting matched to summer solstice from the very start so I don't have any re-veg like this year and I this years outdoor will fund much better genetics for next year as well

I can dig that......I am definitely going to be using bigger pots next year.....probably all 18 gallon tubs and I might throw one plant in a 100g smart pot. Gonna start my plants indoors next year too to give them a head start.......if they get rid of this outdoor ban then I might chop down some trees and expand my grow area.....ooooo more/bigger plants :weed:

so looks like my soil mix is running out of nitrogen real quick. what are good teas in flowering that will keep em green like dirtyd says, but not over do it on nitrogen. ewc tea is a good source of npk correct? i already hit them with 50/50 maxsea veg and bloom but seems to be continuing

alright i only have the alaskan morbloom 0-10-10 right now but i can get the 5-1-1 stuff. iv got mexican bat guano 5-0-0 or somthing i could top dress a little with the which iv done previously im just trippin bout giving too much nitrogen but its still early flower and these big girls still require and like a good amount of nitrogen up until mid to later in flowering so i should stop worrying and give them what there asking me for i guess.
