I'm starting this journal 12 days into my little girl breaking the surface. She is a feminized Northern Light seed from the Nirvana seed bank. Soil is seedling starter soil made at a local garden supply store. She will be entirely grown under a mix of 2700k and 6500k 40 Watt, 150 watty equivalent bulbs.
So far I am extremely happy with her growth. Seems to be staying nice a short and filling out sideways. Since I am only growing this one plant, my game plan is to top her once she developes her 5 set of leaves to increase my overall yield and avoid the Christmas tree shape that's is such a pain in the ass to light with cfl bulbs.
Once I've topped her and let her recover for a week or so, I will transplant into a 3 gallon pot filled with Fox Farm Ocean Forest, switch my lights to 12/12 and then just let her do her thing. As for nutes, I have Jacks all purpose fertilizer and also Jacks Blossom booster that I will use if I feel she starts needing some supplements. Although from what I read and have found is that the ffof seems to hold the plant over pretty well for the first month or so without needing to add any additional nutes to the water.
Anyway, that's my start to this journal. Happy growing and stay tuned!
