How is your cardiopulmonary and metabolic health? Your brain seems fine to me. A history of meningitis isn't considered a comorbidity, I won't comment on your luck other than to wish it to you.
Well I came close to dying, spent 17 days in the hospital. Before I got it I used to feel at least 10 years younger than I am, after I now feel 10 years older than I am. They couldn't determine if I had viral or bacterial, guess that's not uncommon from what they told me, so they treated me for both. I was on 3 different intravenous antibiotics and two antivirals, plus some other stuff, felt like a pin cushion. What they didn't warn me about was that they killed my gut bacteria and my digestive track has never recovered and I have problems still even tho I'm on a very clean diet now with lots of natural probiotics. I've had my heart tested and they say it's good but I have a heavy feeling in my chest, it may be my lungs. One thing I learned is that most people have no idea what real pain is, like when the doctor says on a scale from 1 to 10, I was at 9 to 10 a lot of time and only got down to 5-6 part of the time when the pain killers were in full effect.

Those pain scale questions are dumb imo. It's so subjective. When I was in the army, between deployments, I had a little plantar wart. It wasn't a big deal but after about 10 miles it got painful enough that I couldn't think about much else. No way I can take point on a dismounted LRP with that. It's like having a pebble in one's boot. I told them I wanted it taken care of since we were in garrison and had mundane shit going on. I was asked how painful it was on a scale of 1-10 and had difficulty answering. When the word "malingering" came up I knew I was going to have to just take care of it myself or live with it. It's one of the reasons I support having access to private medicine in addition to social access.

I paid a podiatrist out of pocket on a Friday afternoon, we had Monday off so I got a few days off it. I couldn't get a no PT profile, which would have helped, if even only for 3 days but it made a huge difference for me for the rest of my hitch. Anyway, it doesn't compare to your emergency except that "describe your pain", translates to "take care of yourself" in my mind.

Yeah, it was like having your head in a vise, when it hit 10 I was dripping in sweat and would just rock back and forth in bed, I lost some hearing and have had ringing in my ears ever since.

This epidemic is projected to peak in April. Going by the geometric growth rate in that Lancet study, in which they say the numbers double every 6.4 days, and using strictly the CCP stats, which most experts in Asia believe are severely low-ball, at least 50 million people will be infected in China with a million dead. That is unless better treatment or a vaccine is discovered.

Let's hope this is contained and There are no outbreaks elsewhere.

If you are suffering from chronic pain, a mindfulness practice can be helpful and MBSR is taught in hospitals for this purpose among others, usually as part of a wellness program. You can lessen the perceived pain and greatly reduce its associated suffering, pain and suffering are two different things as are pleasure and happiness. Here is a free online evidence based MBSR course

A video that explains how practice reduces pain and suffering, here is a short and informative 20 minute video, it's not the whole story but a big part of it. Among other things a practice can also boost immune system functioning by up to 30% too.

Nano particle silver, the best is found at infowars.com, all of their silver products are nano silver, they also have a nano silver wound gel at near military specs. (toxic if taken orally)I have stopped the flu dead in its tracks with silver and a few herbs.

Fucking hilarious. Or, maybe Alex Jones will finally get the Medal of Freedom - if he can beat out David Duke.
