Okay so was a little surprised that it seems there has been a run on mason jars as well as TP. :D

Guess it's time to go on a mission hunting the stores, braving the covid. What alternatives would you all recommend if I can't find mason jars?

Never thought I'd have a hard time getting them, even off season. Checking local stores and Amazon, etc and seems there's a major supply chain problem as many stated the supplier can't fulfill demand.

I've thought about those c-vaults and what not, but I want to stay on the cheap. Mason jars have worked just fine for me so no reason to spend more if avoidable.

Find a plastic shop bag, blow it up, seal any holes, insert dried bud, knot the handles so airtight, done.

Hoping when I brave the store there's plenty; When checking online though it looks bleak. I scrounged up just enough for this time luckily.

But I will definitely be snatching up a backup set for next time. Was caught off guard this time and unprepared.

ive had zero issue finding them at walmart. thats odd
I just bought 3 6 packs of big half gallon ones a couple weeks ago and they had pretty much a full stock.
I live in the city though.

I prefer solid hardwood hand crafted boxes to cure in, i wouldnt store my best cubans in anything less.

Why isnt wood supperior to glass, if it is all your weed taste like shit compared to mine.

Must be a regional issue. Here in Portland the shelves are full of mason jars at stores that sell them. I have over 100 mason jars in pint, quart, and half gallon sizes. I better go get some more before there's a shortage as I'll be doing a bunch of canning this summer.

Well the g/f stopped by the store today and the had them, and multiple of. So no clue why local websites were showing them as unavailable even going as far as stating suppler/demand issue as why out of stock/not available for online ordering.

Backup set of 12 in hand now. ;-) Won't be caught off guard again. Time to use up what's already jarred is what this really means. Doing this for personal use only means I nice sized stash to work my way through before dipping into the new harvest.

Man o' man that finger hash sure can do the job for someone who's never done dabs/concentrates...
