Nug I want to pass a Tip to you that you won't like.
While I think your back drops are so bad ass I found that generally the mags want a darker drop like plain black. Obviously there are exceptions but you know me and the crazy back drops
I think in the long run it hurt by career as a Cannabis Photographer trying to get published.
Always toss up black velvet before your done shooting

Yo nugs it might be answered but I forgot some of what I read after reading through the entire thread but
What kind of camera are you using to take your pics? Or what would you recommend getting? (it will only be for bud shots if that matters)

cool bro....thank you for the critique! much appreciated...........i actually have 100's of shots off all my backgrounds including black....i'm just trying to work out the kinks before my spades backdrop comes in.....will focus on darker drops....again thank you very much...

here are a few dark drop ones.....they arn't great, but they are a start....her real session is in a few days......the one on the left is a fucking meathead.......!!!

Great pics Nugs!!! love the 2nd backdrop one has good depth to it i think. I can't wait be able pop some seeds! currently finishing up some querkle and gods bud I got as clones.

...she gets her glamours on friday, and chopped on sunday.....i am much, much more stoked about her chop shots, because that is when this whole "main-lining" gig is going to come into focus (no pun intended).....wait till you see the mass on this bitch....i have been saying it for weeks, but epic!

.........remember when i took these symetrical clones off at the very beginning?....well here is what the two generations look like side by side today.....that is a huge benefit for me....they are only 39 days apart!!!!!!!

....the only difference is mama is an 8 head, and daughter a 16.....this is the best main-line job i have done on a clone.....

just a $600 D3100 nikon, tamron macro lens, sigma ring light, and clamp on shop lights, with cfl's....
....i plan to upgrade the cam after i get my feet wet......speed flash and reflector coming soon...

Sweet thats exactly what I was looking at getting to begin with as well.
Idk much about cameras so do you think it would be better to get my feet wet first with the D3100 or go with the best (speed flash and reflector) since I will prolly end up getting that at some point in the future?
