Nug's 330w CMH grow (5 types of kush)

Lostnug are the CMH bulbs your running the Phillips or the GE and if they are they Phillips may I as why you did not op for the Retro White's which had the blow away spec's in most aspects or am I totally wrong and choose the wrong one? Learning the rope as this is my first (reluctantly) HID grow. Now no offense to all but I personally would rather utilize 100% LED to make my stash.
 
Yeah its the phillips 330w. The retro does have better specs but it only works with a hps ballast. Since I got 2 mh ballasts for free I didn't want to spend more money on a hps ballast. I believe ur right about the retro being better then thhe one I got because I remember thomas from advanced tech lighting telling me the same thing.

About the led... I have seen 2 high wattage led grows in person and was not too happy with results. Im sure there are people that have had great results but I just haven't seen it in person.
 
There's a bunch of threads and videos on it. Look it up

Quick rundown: All u pretty much do is bend the stem gently from side to side and squeeze the stem lightly untill u hear a lill pop (don't do it too hard or ull break it completely). The stem will then usually fall over 90 degrees but after about a day of light it will stand back up. It will stunt growth for a lil while but u will get much thicker stems and more even canopy.
 
Hey man....looking really nice and healthy. I wouldn't worry too much about those brown spots. Do you have city water? I do, and sometimes get leaves like that. I think it may be rust mold from all the rust in the city h2o. Looks good and keep it up! Cheers
 
Thanks man. I do live in the city but I use only RO water so im not sure how much stuff gets thru the filters so it could be rust.

The yellowing got kinda bad on the pre98 and lot of lower fan leaves fell off. Like a good 1/3. I think its cuz she was the first one I flushed since I thought I was overfeeding (im pretty sure I was actually underfeediing), she's got the smallest buds of them all but hopefully she pulls thru.

After feeding them full stregth last nite with a bunch P and K (after getting only cal mag forthe past few days with the flush)the buds exploded in growth so that's why I think I was underfeeding. I also saw on the atami nutes that im using that it says in fine pring to use with every watering and I was doing it every other . They need to make they damn font bigger! Im a welder by trade so don't got best vision haha

Ya I water right now at GH's "Mild Growth" level...and I only give it to them every other feeding. I always think that I am under/overfeeding..lol I was also thinking that it may be a Nitrogen Def. as well. I know that my buddy swears by high N nutes. He uses Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro...it has like 9% N..it works great for him though. I decided to LST my girls....first time doing this for me..hope it turns out ok. I think that she will pull through....just giver her a good blast of bloom nutes and add a little veg nutes as well. That will bring up the N a little..
 
The blloom nutes ii use have a pretty high amount of N. So I think if was more of P or K def from my comparing to pics on here. The buds really exploded in growth when I started adding the bloombastic which is like 0_14_15. Last water I had it about 1000the ppm. Almost out of the sample bottle so gonna go get some other kind bloom nute problems cuz I heard bloombastic give s bad taste if used in late flower. I think she will pull thru but im gonna chop the smaller lower branches of that lost most of their fan leaves so that the tops get all the energy. Right now the bubba is the biggest, sfv is in the middle and pre98 is the smallest.

Im gonna throw up just a few pics cuz im on my phone and I just saw that my phone cams got a macro setting so when I get home today im gonna take better pics and post em em all.

The clone on the left is the blackberry and its flowering like crazy but its not growing at all...anyone know why? The other 2 are growing good and got nice lil buds on em.

Here's the pre98. Looks all naked! The leaves broke of real easy also that's why it makes me tthink P or K def. Whichever one makes week stems.

i think its a p issue on your stems i think u should increase your bloom nutes and you should see a difference remember that it takes some time to see the results when you correct an issue. i have a blueberry that is real sensitive to nutrient levels. im on my first grow since 97 i have bluberry, madagascar, and some great bagseed going. love your varieties as i am a big kush fan 2 only to alskan thunderfuck and silver haze both of which are going into my garden for the next grow
 
Yeah I've been slowly working up the nutrients. Gave em about 1300ppm last night. Thanks man.

They are really starting to smell now and wow they smell lovely. I squeezed a lil lower bud n my fingers were super sticky and smelled real kushy! My gf said she noticed the smell outside the other day. Im sure its prolly when the fans off during the day the carbon filters isn't doing anything. Not ttoo woried about it cuz we smoke indoors all day with windows open so im sure neighbors smell the smoke anyways haha. All card holders so its all good.

Thanks man. This is my first time working with these strains so not too sure. From what I found online on a few of the strains is about 60 days (8 weeks). So if Monday is gonna be the start of the 4th week then that means about another 3-4 weeks atleast. So im thinking towards end of october.
 
hey those look pretty good....
i would keep the ppms for the ogs under a 1000....
And maybe a bit more on the bubba... bubba eat more ...:-P

Thanks man. Means a lot coming from u after seeing ur kush pics. The bubbas sure do eat a lot! First ones to need watering always.

So below 1000ppm for the OGs all the way till the end? I noticed a bit of the lower leaves got crispy on the edges and tips curled up so might of over fed them a bit. Ill prollly give em another flush just to be safe.

Same here, I'm thinking before Halloween.
 
Yep looks like were all on same schedule.

I just went around and squeezed a lil a bud of each strain so that I could smell them some of more and wow! The blackberry og actually smells like blackberrys (I know the smell well since they are my fav berries and I grow them in the backyard). The SFV OG definetly had the strongest kush smell out my them all. I love it!
