Or we could remain silent about the shortfall and be most likely voted out of office by people who never knew the truth about the association's financial past. We in fact are not the cause of the trouble but we are taking resonsibility for it but doing the hard things - like cutting back on our spending and raising the rates.

ummm that isn't going to work. You need to get some giant bank loans, then spend the money on frivolous/illogical stuff that helps no one. Reduce rates and increase spending by as much as possible. By the time the terrible damage comes you will be long gone and can blame it on the people who were there before you.

Oh wait, NM that's the governments idea on how to do things, what was I thinking?

Hell yeah, "trickle up" works as long as you don't use common sense.

A funny comparison but we were talking about blaming our predecessors for the conditions we are currently in. While the problem is clearly ours, it is important for the homeowners to understand that we didn't cause it and that we are capable of fixing it, given a long enough time.

I have not seen him indulge in such misbehavior. How can you be certain? cn
He says she only gets $400 a month and they went off her income, but since she was a housewife didn't make enough. BS ALERT, the SS office goes off of either spouses income, whichever was more. Also the fact that she didn't get survivor benefits and doesn't qualify for Medicare really rings the BS meter too. Then there is the Kids that had to be split up cuz the $400 a month won't support them. Then the whole Mormon church not getting involved. LOL the Mormon church has lots of money and they just LOVE helping members get out of poverty. I know this because I grew up LDS and many of the poor members got assistance from the church.

Yep she is in a WheelChair, has full blown MS, children and a recently departed husband, yet the Government only sees fit to treat to give her a very small stipend.

SNAP would give her more than $400 in food stamps each month if she only were to apply.

The whole story stinks to high heaven, I think Carne went and negatively embellished every aspect of his sis in law's situation.
