Nut Deficiency or burn? Tried self diagnosis but no change

I agree that the problem is a K deficiency. I dont grow in soil so I dont know where you might be going wrong. The wrong ph will prevent nutrient uptake. I'd get that figured out if possible. Under feeding can cause it. Not having the right beneficial or chelates to allow absorption can cause it. Over fertilizing can cause a lock out. Excessive magnesium will lock out K, which is challenging since the girls need K and Mg during flowering. In hydroponics, a flush is always a good idea, then starting over with a balanced nutrient (stated before by wiser folks, just reinforcing). Reduce nutrient mix to ph 6.5 before watering.

Also, i have read that Chlorine is a needed element. But hydro growers take specific actions to reduce the chlorine in their water. Grow bible says let your tap water sit for 24 hours to evaporate chlorine other wise you'll bleach your plants. This is good advice, keep the chlorine out.

cool well i flushed each plant with loads of water (roughly 20l each coz im not sure how far the roots go..) which was yesterday. today I came out to find most of the ones id flushed had fallen over slightly..
guess they couldnt hold them selves up cause the soil was to wet and loose..:oops: pretty upset but oh well cant give up on em. stuck them up again and am gonna leave them till they dry abit and water them again with loads of water cause the problem doesnt seem to be getting better.. im still convinced i over fertilized them and they not getting any potassium now but im still a beginner

I went to the only hydro store in town today and they dont have a balanced fertilizer(FML!!!) so thats why i think the only thing i can do is reflush.. ended up getting a nicer more expensive fert called biobloom NPK 2:6:3.5 hopefully that will be abit better for the ladies.. when will it be best to begin fertilizing? shall i keep using plain water till things improve and then add some nutes for help? my internets cooking we have the worst internet in the world so if i can il upload new images tommoro to show how they look

However this is only my second grow and found things still abit confusing.

I stay in South Africa in a southern town where the weather is great for outdoor growing! 8-)

Growing medium:

1. Grown outdoors in the ground so not sure of how far the roots can go.
2. Watered every 2-3 days using normal tap water that has sat for at least 2 days (Ive heard this allows the chlorine to evaporate?).
3. Late into flowering season about two weeks left till winter. Temperature still ranges from 20 to 27 degrees Celsius (68f-80f). Rains about once a week.

Soil mix:

1/2 of mix ( 2/3 peat moss, 1/3 Soil less potting mix)
1/2 of mix (2/3 Perlite, 1/3 Vermiculite)

Added Nutrients to soil mixture:

half a cup of bat guano
3 tbl spoons bone meal
2 tbl spoons Dolomite lime
half a cup of multipurpose fertilizer with NPK of 13:3:8 with trace elements

I have given each plant a dose of 2 tbl spoons of bone meal during flowering roughly 2 weeks into flowering and then again 2 weeks later. I have been using a flower bulb fertilzer with a NPK of 3:9:17 which i use about once a week with a watering.

I have a fairly cheap pH meter that tells me my soil pH is at 7

Plants have been healthy and green up until about 2 weeks ago when they first started showing symptoms. Basically from researching other threads I figured out it must be a potassium (K) deficiency as it has seems to have all the symptoms im having. So in my first attempt to give the plant more potassium i gave it about 3 tbl spoons of bone meal and about 2 tbl spoons of bat guano early last week and watered it in with alot of water. This seemed to help slightly making the really yellow leaves have abit more green in them but only for 2 or 3 days then things started getting worse again. In my second attempt at a
solution I figured maybe its a calcium issue as this is whats said in the self diagnosis thread. Therefore I used about 2 tbl spoons of my flower bulb fert and about 2 tbl spoons of dolomite lime. This was yesterday.

Im struggling to figure out whether ive given the plant too much potassium which is causing the horrible leaf yellowing and spotting and burnt, brown and curled leaf tips. Or if not then why the plant wont seem to sort itself out when I gave it a good dose of potassium? If ive given the plant too much potassium can it be saved so late into flowering? Would the easiest solution be too flush the plants?

please any help will be greatly appreciated im busy shitting bricks here as ive got no clue what to do..:wall:

I don't know if you figured out your prob...but it actually looks like spidermites...

The leaves are starting to look papery and have these weird bump like things under the surface. Any ideas?

well if your temps are a constant 82 that's a good place to start lower them to around a cool 70...anywhere from 65 to 75 is ok lower or higher and you risk stressing the plant

Thanks for the response. But so far I have lowered the temp by venting cold air in from the outside into the grow-closet using a in-line fan from my window and running ducting into the closet. When I do that I can get the temp around 75 f but the RH drops 10-15% (bc as I understand cold air holds less moisture). Also there is a big difference when I put the thermometer above the lights. But as I understand it should be below for the most accurate reading. So I guess I have to figure out a way to vent hot air out of the closet. Hence, I will try moving my inline fan closer to the lights and have it pull heat generated from there out. The best approach would prob be using two in-lines to move the air around but I am on a tight budget and can't afford another. Any one have suggestions? Just speaking out my thoughts.

I said that I would show updated photos but the internet in s.africa is pretty much f&*ked for the next 2 weeks and i can only get a max speed of 20kbps... we have thee worst internet in the world as i said b4...

Otherwise the problem seems to slowly but surely be getting better after the main flush although the main fan leaves have all pretty much frizzled up and fallen off with new ones beginning to grow(guess this is gonna slow my bud production down...) Buds still looking pretty sticky and seems to also slowly but surely be growing but not amazingly of course. Seems just the flush helped even if i couldn't organize a balanced fertilizer. The browning on the tips of the leaves however hasnt seemed to be getting any better.

Im pretty sure it isn't spider-mites i check them every day 3 or 4 times throughout the day to view progress and make sure that my cats or bugs or the heavy winds haven't troubled the ladies. That aswell as giving it a decent amount of insecticide during the hottest summer months when there are loads of grasshoppers around.

Plan on giving it a second flush once the soils dried up abit. Will keep posting the updates so any newbies at growing can learn from my fuckups.. :wall:
