Big rep to you Bossman for setting this up properly, I'm a big fan of both the advanced and the foxfarm products. I'm leaning more towards the advanced products because they really are made for the plants I'm growing. Big Mike is a salesman...but he is selling what I'm looking for and not afraid to beat around the bush so to speak. Anyhow, I've been growing with foxfarm for a few years and always liked it.

I also am running a advanced nutrients vs. foxfarm test. More by accident than on purpose, as I already had the complete foxfarm line up (soluble trio and liquid trio for soil) prior to starting my plants and purchased the advanced nutrients line going into flowing. I didn't intend on the doing a comparison, so I didn't take the pics I should have. I am growing Northern Lights #5, and Mazar currently. I am using connoisseur a & b, mother earth bloom tea, piranha, voodoo juice, scorpion juice, bud candy, nirvana, and final phase. I am growing in foxfarm ocean forest organic soil using r/o treated water. So far, the advanced nutrients products have really outperformed the foxfarm. The soluble trio caused repeated nutrient lock up with the northern lights, even with weekly flushing that I had to increase to bi-weekly, and then I cut out the solubles altogether and stuck with the liquid tiger bloom and big bloom. The buds on the advanced products are denser, and larger on the northern lights and the mazar. The mazar didn't have the adverse reaction to the foxfarm solubles that the northern lights did, so it got solubles and liquids the whole way through. Buds on the mazar are very comparable from both products, however the advanced nutrients plant has more trichomes. My apologies that I don't have any pics to post for comparison, but I'm starting a Arjan's Strawberry Haze grow with the Grand Master Advanced Nutrients package that I will be posting soon...

again, big rep and I look forward to seeing your progress!

Thank's bro,
I am glad to hear the AN work's well in the Ocean forest.
It s my favorite soil. I do a 50\50 mix with Light warrior.
I a using the promix for the test. That way I can test the the veg nute's too.
With that soill mix of FF I don't usually use any veg nute's.
Looking for to some pic's of the Strawberry. Let me know whenthey are up.

awesome boss! looking forward to the results man:leaf:

What up Doc.
I am also. I actually excited about the DWC with advanced also.
It is fun to see the root's hanging all pretty in the water.

O.K. So this is the growing method's I have used.
Please feel free to give opinoin's.
I am using rockwool for the DWC. So I sake it for 1 hour in R\O water PH of 7.
After 1 hour the PH was 6.9.
Then soaked it for another hour in R\O water PH of 5.5.
The PH was 6.0.
Rockwool ready.
So then the Pro mix #4 get's a good watering with R\O water PH at 5.5.
After 1 hour the Ph was 6.2.
Pro mix ready.
Then mixed the A\N nute's.
Sensi grow A 0.2oz
Sensi Grow B 0.2oz
F1 0.05oz
B52 0.05oz
Voodo juice 0.05oz
Pirahna 0.05oz
Tarantula. 0.05oz

To 2 gallon's of water. PH 6.0 ppm 295.

Fox Farm nute's.
1 half TBS of big bloom.

To a half gallon of water. PH 6.47 PPM 297

Cutting Edge Solutoin's.

Micro 5.0 ml
Bloom 3.0 ml
Grow 10.0 ml
Plant amp 10.0 ml
Uncle john's blend. 10.0 ml

To 1 gallon of water. PH 3.8 PPM 650.

Then transplanted 3 Well rooted Master Kush clone's into the Promix and watered each one with a different nute.
Then Transplanted 1 Master Kush into the DWC setup with the AN mixture.
That is why I mixed more of the AN then the rest.

What up peep's,

Okay it has been a slow weak. The pot's I used are too big. It still has not dryed out from the initail watering last monday. So saturday I moved them from under the flouros to the 400 watt. And they seem like they will be dry by tommorow.
So i mixed the nute's for them today. And they will arearate till tommorow.

Then I transplanted 3 Erkles into small cup's.
Each one got a different nute.
I gave them the weak 2 nute's. Same as the Master kush's will get tommorow.
AN was the only compnay that increased nute's on second weak rooted clone's. So all's good.

Advanced nute's rooted clone weak 2 per nutrientcalculater.

Sensi A 0.31 oz
Sensi B 0.31 oz
F1 0.08 oz.
B-52 0.08 oz
Voodo juice 0.08 oz
Pirahna 0.08 oz
Terantula. 0.08 oz.

Mixed into 2 gallon's RO water.
PH 6.15 temp 78 PPM 352.

I replaced the water in the DWC with The above AN mix.
The rest will water Master Kush Tester tomorrow.

Fox Farm's

Big bloom 1 oz per gallon RO water.
PH 6.48 temp 80 PPM 239
This will also sit with air sone till tommorow.

Cutting Edge solutoin's.

Micro 1 ml
Bloom 6ml
Grow 10 ml
Plant amp 10 ml
Uncle jons. 10 ml

Mixed to 1 gallon RO water.
PH 3.89 temp 77 PPM 921

Some pic's of the Master Kushes next to the Erkle's.

I think we will begin to see a difference in development between the plants beginning week 3 and progressive differences there after ;) (having NO doubt in my mind AT ALL now that you will be using all nutrient lines appropriately) here comes some well deserved rep if I can.... If I can't, the love and appreciation is there none the less ;)

well I seem to be lost in this post. I use cutting edge in dwc and I just love it! has been the best stuff I have used in hydro. you can actually get a human on the phone or email also

what up boss...

its crazy how much higher the ppm's are with cutting edge compared to other companies... and the ph is so low!! honestly i was scared to feed my plants with it at first but the shit is working killer so far!

im done vegging (3 weeks) my plants.... i got cutting edge vs. canna vs. H&G, and the cutting edge plants are a bit bigger and sturdier looking than the rest... I suspect this may change when i am deep into flower (i think the shooting powder is going to kill the competion) but i could be wrong.

are all of yours looking the same still ?

What up all.
Thank you guy's for the post's.
Much appreciated.
This is more work then I even thought.
So pulled the round on MC really gently to observe root's.
I have to say am really impreesed with the root growth.
All 3 company's are about even at this point as far as root's go.
The 3 Erkle's that are 1 weak behind but in smaller pot's. Look way better then the MC did at this point. The root's are also pretty equal.
As far as plant growth go'es I think it still to early to judge that.
But here are pic's of each.

Pic 1 and 2 are the MC. From left to right IS FF-CES-AN
Pic 3 and 4 are The erkles n the same order.

Also the DWC Is looking great.
The root's are through the cube.
And growth is ready to explode.
Also a shot of my work area.

Here is an update.
It is actually the pic's from yesterday.
Witch is the start of weak 2 for The erkle.
They all got fed with the weak 2 solutoin in weak one.
Not much burn considering I skipped the first weak feeding amount's and bumped them straight to weak 2.

The feeding for them was the same exact mixure's as the last feeding. Wich again was the weak 2 for rooted clone's. Exactly per each compnay's feeding schedule.

For AN The PPM 419 PH 5.87 Temp 77

For the CES PPM 1091 PH 4.17 Temp 77

For the FF PPM 671 PH 6.80 Temp 77

The Master kush witch are in the start of weak 3 got plain water after 2 feading's.

I measured the runoff for the FF and the AN. I went a little heavey on the wake and bake. So did not get the CES.

The run off for the AN PH was 5.73

FF PH was 5.66.

Will adjust the next feeding's Ph to Bring them up a little.

Pic 1,2 ,3 is the Erkle with FF at start of weak 2 both side's of root's and the top.

Pic 4,5,6, is the Erkle with the CES.

Pic 7,8,9, is the Erkle with the AN.

What up TLC.
FF seem's to have the most root's.
These are all happier then the MK in the larger pot's.
They are staying wet way too long.
