Nutrients and Harvest Time.

Hello Everybody:

I have some doubts about nutrients and harvest time.

I’m growing in coco, dinafem’s critical +

According to manufacturer, they will be ready in 55 days. Should I count from day 1 of the fotoperiod change (12/12)?

If so, should I stop giving them nutrients only the last 7 days?

What would happen if I use nutes till the end of the process in terms of “flavour”? May it harm humans that smoke it? Will increase yield?

If I see that there are plants that are slower in getting ripe, can i continue using nutrients until I “guess” there are only seven days?

Should I only give them plain water the last seven days or I can use base nutrients?

Any advice is welcome.
Always yours,
Mr. THC.

In terms of maturity time, go with what CoreyWebster is telling you. There are too many variables from plant to plant and grow to grow to count on someone else's maturity date. You'll have to find this out on your own.

In terms of to flush, not to flush, nutrients to the end, just water at the end. Here's the best way to know, aside from inciting a riot between all the differing factions here. Take one plant to the end on just nutrients. Take one plant to end and flush it. Harvest them, cure them and smoke them. You'll answer all your questions. And No... flush or not, your smoke won't be harmful to humans provided you don't spray poison all over them. Now put on your lab coat, roll up your sleeves and experiment. That's more than half the fun of this hobby.

Thanks man.

I will rely on my observations.

“Faction riot” lol

And regarding feeding: i’ll feed them to the end.

Yes, feed them to the end, but they don't need much ppm, instead of the term flush (which can mean many things) I prefer the term fade

For last few feedings my plants are probably getting nothing but properly pH water but I don't flush them per se, I don't withhold nutes for one or two weeks

I give them half, then quarter strength and eventually just plain water by last few feeds.

..this is an old topic with lotsa different opinions on it, I've done side-by-side like suggested above more than once and I've never noticed a difference, flushing's another cannabis myth in my opinion
-good luck!

Personally I’m a fan of keeping them as green as the day they pop til the day they drop. But that’s me I simply take. Bit longer to dry and cure and whamo smoke, vape or whatever.
