Obama wants mandatory voting...

So do you think their aim is to just tax us for not voting so they can extort more money? It seems like a small paycheck for such a hot topic. OR are they going to punish us for the way we vote?

Could be both, Not sure really.
I kinda think they just want us in line and obedient.

So how will they penalize people if they do not vote? Tax? (I mean uh fine).
Who gets fined? Surely not the underpriviledged, they will get a pass right because I mean, they cant even go get a voter ID, but now it is fine to force them to vote?

Cant wait to see the Obama lovers defend this. Watch the twists and spins that make everything ok when Obama does it... Just like how dems were anti-war until the dems went to war, now dems are war lovers.
You didn't give a reference so it must just be an accusation from some blog

What a load of crap

He said, "it would be very transformative IF everyone voted. And even the articles don't say that

The president didn’t commit to pushing a mandatory voting initiative at the federal level but said, “that may end up being a better strategy in the short term” than finding a solution to curbing campaign donations.

And of course Obama is very much for unfettered political donation which is why he said it this way. Slimy double-think as usual

The DEMs were trying to force the outcome and not admit the election law of FL did not allow Broward county to keep counting after the mandated Certification date.

The DEM legislature tried to say they could offer a one time extension.

The matter went to SCOTUS. They asked a simple question

What is the basis in Law for offering an extension?

FLORIDA HAD NO ANSWER

That is what happened and the rest is LIES

The donors to dems are mostly public servant/teachers/gov employees unions
The donors for the Rs are the 1%, military industrial complex, Kochs

The fat cats in Congress are DEMs and the main lobby is the trial lawyers

So you really have no idea

The PUBs main lobby is small business
Defense firms support both parties often enough

From your own link there are many that are about 1/2 for each

It is not simple
