the narrative has become so predictable it's pathetic.
now it's:

if Obama leads in a poll, it's sampling error. if Romney edges up in a poll, it's a revelation of the frustration this nation feels with Obama's failed presidency.

what makes it worse is that some people just eat it up... :S

Overall it appears that Obama is up, just not by much.

They are basing sampling off of 2008 which was an anomaly year.

It doesnt matter, only one poll counts.

Not a narrative bud, look at the polling data. if you can come back with something substantiative to show to the contrary, do it!

i wouldn't be so confident. there is still more than plenty of time for things to change, 3 debates to go, and an economy that has not seen an incumbent win reelection since FDR.

the odds are stacked against the big O here, but willard is too fucking stupid to put forth a mundane, non-controversial republican plan (with specifics) and keep his yapper shut.

That right there is my entire reasoning behind betting. Also, he says he's confident Obama will lose, so it would defeat in that case would be especially delicious! All I'm hearing are crickets from him so far though, which is interesting because he's usually pretty quick with the replies..

on paper, probably so. but these debates are not about substance.

one really good zinger will topple a mountain of substance.

it's not over yet. reality polls may soon show romney up. there is time and obama is weak.
