I'd gladly cook meat eaters. Eye for an eye. How do you know meat eaters with all the garbage they consume aren't the alien's foi gras?
When I ate meat long ago, grain fed only pork tasted like shit.

Animals aren't people; and I don't see how you attribute being a person (Which I thought was a requirement for slavery.) to an animal. For the sake of argument though. Were I a slave; yes, I would care a lot. If I was delicious and doomed to be killed; I would appreciate someone attempting to give a damn about my comfort up to that point. Would you rather be tortured to death after living a life of pain? Or would you prefer a life where you were able to enjoy a semblance of a real life that is ended by a bullet to the brain stem? I don't see how a "slave" could not want a more positive treatment in their short lives.
Out of curiosity; what would make vegan chefs useful to carnivorous creatures? While your skills in marinating tofu may be handy to you; your lack of knowledge when it comes down to how to prepare different cuts of meat would be arguably lacking. You can't be a useful chef for a carnivore if you don't know a rump roast from a rib-eye.

If you consider it "eye for an eye"; would you be equally satisfied cooking a bear, chimp, sheep, or deer? They all have the option to eat only plants; yet they are known to dabble on the meat-side. For deer and sheep; it's only gnawing the parts off of baby birds for certain nutrients.
Though how could it be "eye for an eye" unless they ate someone you know?
