i know there are good cops out there and yea im thankful for them cuz i think they are needed but the rest, fuck em. i went to school with a few dudes who are cops now and 1 of them even said back in day "im gonna be a cop, i love hitting people, its the perfect fit for me" and he did just that. hes a cop here in town. 3rd week on the job he shot a 16 year old in the ass because the kid swung on him. round where i live, cops are a joke. they dont talk to people with any kind of respect and they harass everybody. i got a j walking ticket in a residential once

Race baiting, that's sad. Ever wonder why certain climates and places are getting more hostile? There's a bit of science behind it...

Let me check your Folsom story with some family... I do know the cameras, though. They sure as fuck used to "act up" when COs beat the piss outta inmates. I remember one case, though. Dude in a supermax was in court before me. He got in a fight in the chow line. Hits dude, dude drops, he drops to his knees as guards rush in. They beat him for about 30 seconds, but the security cam in the chow hall was acting up. Cut to cell block, where beaten and bleading inmate gasps for air and coughs out the blood he just inhaled. He's in court for 3 1st degree assault with a biological weapons charges. They said he "coughed with intent." The judge looked at the guy, a couple months later (outta seg) he's still marked up, swollen, his shit's wired shut, nose is stitched half balk on, same with ear. Says that the charges are dismissed, as is the employment of said guards, and if the video tape isn't found, the warden may be looking at evidence suppression charges. This is what you call a good fuckin' day for the next con in line. I walked ROR, 6 felonies.
The cameras in the license plate factory were always kept working. Mostly I used it to show the inmate leadman the stupid shit his crew was doing on the job, when they were supposed to be working. The leadmen would come & sit in my office & watch.......transparency was a tool I used quite successfully in there. The first thing I did with ever new worker was sit him down & show them the cameras. I was able to keep the officers out of the building most of the time, they only slowed down the pace & we had plates to make.......I tried to operate the factory as much like an outside factory as possible, and it work wonders. Treat a man with a little dignity & respect and you usually get it back. I had a great rapport with my crew. I can point to 2 times the inmates saved my life, they don't do that cavalierly. I believe I earned their respect. I would do the little things that can mean a lot....get one of my workers in to see the dentist or into sick call. I arranged to have our inmates eat first in the mornings & get first draw at canteen....the little things are huge to them. I had no reason to treat inmates poorly, quite the opposite.....I got much more accomplished treating them well. They were my workers I needed them.....the officers & I had different jobs to do, many times opposing jobs.......but we made it work...I was investigated several times for being over familiar with inmates.....I walked a fine line....

The cops came to save my plants when a couple of freak twakked out tweakers
tried to jack me up but before they got inside i called 911 and the police showed up
in 3 minutes and off to jail the freaks went and their car got towed so the cops
helped secure my 18 plant big grow and haven't seen the freak tweakers or the po po since.
It's been a few months. In short, in LA the cops will help secure your grows.

I had a similar experience. My neighbor called the cops because someone trying to steal my plants was hiding in their backyard in the middle of the night. My dog scared the thief & he was hiding in my next door neighbors yard. The lady spotted him & called the cops. I woke up when my dog was barking but didn't see anything. I was standing in my living room looking out the front window, and watched a cop car slowly pull-up in front of my house!.....then another car across the street a few doors down! Ug oh!....a minute later a kid came running out my neighbors driveway, right between the cop cars. as soon as he saw the cops, he put his hands up and knelt down....... When the neighbor knew the cops were outside she turned her back porch light on and flushed him right to the police. I had the satisfaction of seeing him put into the back of a patrol car. My neighbor told me he looked like he was hiding from something in my yard. I had a nice harvest that year, thank you.......

If it wasn't for the known fact that the police exist, people would be out of control.Police are mostly only dickheads when your being an asshole or making their job harder.

If your not bothering anyone, like a normal person, the police don't bother you. But if your a dumbass or don't care that you are annoying someone and making the police have a situation to deal with they are going to be a dick to you because you deserve it. As for pulling someone over they have no idea who you are and are going to approach you with caution.

A little trick my uncle told me that has gotten me outa almost a dozen tickets is to just put the officer at ease. Turn off your car, put your keys on the dash, and place your hands on the steering wheel until he gets to the car. I swear I've gotten outa at least 10 speeding tickets and traffic violations when I've done this. A cop is just a person, if you know how to deal with people, then a cop is no big deal.

Florida panhandle cops are douchefucks. I've met 1 cool cop out of the way too many that I've encountered. I went to school with a kid that had a cop as a father. That cop would beat the shit out of him and say, "what are you gonna do bitch? I'm a cop! They won't believe you!" Right in front of me and other friends. And he's one of the nicer cops.
Once I got arrested for breaking something really expensive. In the cop car, the police officer was an older guy that said he's been working there for 25 years. During our convo on the way downtown he told me that 60% of police officers become police because they were bullied in high school or by their families. They just wanted to put an end to the abuse they were receiving and gain respect. I can completely understand why some cops are mentally unstable and are quick to abuse their authority and harm individuals that do not deserve it, it is just the cop losing their self control. It's unfortunate, but that is the extreme minority of law enforcement. Atleast they are willing to deal with idiots all day, I couldn't do it.

for every video of police brutality you can post, there are 1000 more videos of mundane or even helpful police interactions that no one ever sees or cares about.

And do you praise your dog when he poops outside, too?

The day I am impressed by a cop doing his fucking job is when I close the sister thread
