OG Kush - Organic Soil

Afternoon, friends! Hope everyone is fine =)

This is my first time growing and I'm having an issue with my girl. She started her 2nd week of 12/12 today and since de 2nd day a flipped to 12/12 she began to show burned edges and tips on some low/mid leaves and also on very few top leaves.

I thought would be potassium deficiency and applied some wood ash, root estimulator (5% of potassium) and neem (2% potassium). The issue still progressed and I don't know what else to do. =/

My soil: perlite, peat, worm casting, bone meal, coffee hull and some other organic amendments (sorry if some names are wrong. I'm brazilian and don't know the name in english hahaha).

I would really love some help to figure out what's happening to my girl. 1st pic: when the problem started. 2nd: Overview today. 3rd: problem progression today.

Good vibrations to everyone!

I'm not an organics soil guy, so I cant say what's up with the nutrients, but it looks like you might have some powdery mildew in the third picture. Have you applied any sprays or anything that might cause that dusty looking residue on the leaves? If not, then it looks like possible PM.

Good luck! Peace :peace:

Looks like a calcium problem to me..

Could be due to one or more of the following.. -

Not enough calcium in the soil
Soil could be too wet too often
Soil could be too dry too often
Possibly too much Nitrogen
Possibly too much Potassium
Possible Humidity too high

Based on what you've said though, my guess would be a lack of Calcium in the growing medium.. Or humidity too high..

You can PH test your run off, and if it trends on the low side (less than 6.5) you have room to add some oyster shell flour, starting with a rate of .5 tablespoon per gallon of growing media, but no more than 1 tablespoon per gallon, based on where your runoff PH is landing..

If your PH is good, maybe look at humidity in the growing environment and reduce if needed..

That's just my 2 cents - good luck with your grow!

Thanks for helping me!
Yes, I sprayed a bit of diluted wood ash. That's the reason of the that dusty on the leaf
I considered any fungus, but I have a 24h ventilation directly to the plant. I don't know if it's enough to prevent fungus... I'll pay more atention to not wet the leaves.

Thank you! Wish you good growings!

Thank you for answering!

I gave wood ash when I watered a week ago. As I watered yesterday, I'll wait for the soil to dry again, test the PH of the runoff and follow yout tips!
I never tested my runoff. Actually, I never had runoff as I'm growing organic (I've read that's not necessary, but maybe this is not a 100% rule we have to follow. Dont know. Still learning the best way to grow).

Thank you again! Wish you good growings!

PH isnt going to cure itself overnight. Also if PH is off, that can cause nutrients to be locked out, and unavailable.

I use both Calcitic Lime, and Dolomitic. Calcitic of course supplies Calcium, and Dolomitic supplies Magnesium. I use 2/3 Calcitic to 1/3 Dolomitic percentage.

Thank you for all of your support!
I also made a weak tea with worm casting and lime. PH was 7.1, but I dont think would be a problem.
It seems like the issue started decreasing progression, but still getting worse (slowly). Bud formation looks fine (today is the 1st day of the 3rd week)
