When you factor in fuel prices maybe. How are gas prices in Canada? do you expect them to go down soon?
Actually they have been going down for a while now. $1.49/litre today.

The Norwegian government implemented a lot of incentives to promote EV sales. I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, I’m saying it’s not a fair comparison. EV’s are still pricey around here.

here we give the tax brakes to Fossil Fuel companies. Norway gives the tax breaks to the EV car buyers...
How much does the us subsidize oil and gas?
The Environmental and Energy Study Institute found that the US government alone spends $20 billion every year on direct fossil fuel subsidies. Of that figure, around $16 billion goes towards oil and gas, while the remaining $4 billion benefits the coal industry.Mar 28, 2022

Yeah Zero is based in my county in fact. I've been looking at them for years, but can't quite pull the trigger. The big problem with zero motorcycles is the same as with any electric vehicle in that the range is quite limited, which is especially true for a motorcycle which can't haul around a big battery pack. A guy at my work had one for a while, and he ended up selling it.

There is new battery technology coming that will address those issues. If we quit subsidizing big oil many of their investors will put their money to battery development instead.

That's great, I'm all for it. My bike is a dual sport, intended for both street and off-road riding. There aren't a whole lot of chargers available in the backcountry which is a big downer when your battery is depleted but you're not done riding yet.

LOL, good term...Forging away, hammering out the micro-circuitry.

It's just too bad USA let onshore manufacturing be lured to China
in the 80s and 90s for bowl of rice a day labor competition, without
first requiring China to follow western-style labor laws and regs. What
greedy fucking idiots allow lobbies to wreck world economies like this?

Have you ever heard of Neuro disorder(s) that give you a +?
I haven’t heard of such a disorder, but I think I can imagine it. It would be very disorienting.

It would explain how you might respond like you did, where it made sense to you, but I was missing one of the dots to connect. Not so long ago I got angry with you over something similar, and I regret how I behaved as a result.

Just like medication..what you can get OTC Canadian for a small percentage of what the US pays..but everyone here has to get a cut..it reminds me of cocaine 80s- how many times was the cut stepped on? Now it's done with everything and anything.

Influencers, we have Influencers..the culmination of American greed.
