Where'd you get that Haze? What's the history on it? How long in flower?Just trimming away... Crockett’s Haze, KIS Organics Biochar, ROI680.View attachment 4856183
A long time ago I had a Pure Kush that got away...one of the best I'd ever had. Not too strong by today's standards, but awesome earthy/spicy scent/flavor.Oh man, I can’t say enough good about this one. It’s from Crockett Family Farms, 80% Sativa, it’s “The Ranger” a Michoacan Sativa x CFF Family secret, which I believe is some sort of banana something or other. 9-10 weeks. Popped 4 seeds, 2 hermed enough that i scrapped them, finished the other 2. I kept this pheno because it has a sweeter fruitier smell that reminded me of some XJ13 I had like 7 years ago, and yielded about 2x what the other one did. This is the most vigorously growing pheno I’ve come across out of ~200 of various strains.
HOWEVER... the other one that I didn’t keep.. turns out that one might be the best weed I’ve ever smelled or smoked. I didn’t keep it because I thought the market might be turned off by how pungent it was.. buds covered in red hairs, and smells like grapefruit, menthol, lemon, sour, turned up to 11, like makes your eyes water. Never had flavor come through in a joint like it either. Can barely do it in the vape because it’s so sharp. So that’s my “one that got away” hard lesson.
So, having grown several pound of this pheno, which does check most of the boxes, I’ve decided to pop the remaining 7 of this pack and see what I get.
I've got a Sannie's Motherlode Kush mother with a fruity cereal scent that I saved from last year's outdoor. The others smelled earthy/sandalwood/spice, but this one smelled like when you first open a box of cereal. So I saved it as a mother. It's a ridiculously dense little bush.Yep, just another of life’s hard lessons. I also had a fantastic OG Kush from Humboldt SC that cured out to smell and taste like fruity pebbles and had plenty of potency, but again, I kept the other one, which is great for sure, but jot like that one haha. Live and learn. The hunt continues..
How did you start them? What kind of light timing have they been under?Just threw my girls outside couple days ago. I'll have a better picture once the weather clears in the NEO.

That's a good question.... @Tht_Blk_Guy27 It might be a bit early? I've set some out in May, and they tried to flower, then revegged, then reflowered. They looked really weird too.How did you start them? What kind of light timing have they been under?
Last year I sprouted all of mine out doors, some as early as mid March, and while many declared gender as early as mid May, none flowered early and reveged. They were never indoors at any point. That's a good question.... @Tht_Blk_Guy27 It might be a bit early? I've set some out in May, and they tried to flower, then revegged, then reflowered. My autos I actually started in their buckets outside and there done just fine. Small but fine. The breakfast in Paris were clones from my shop on a 24hr/lights and they were in a super weird situation. They were in Rockwood cubes but covered in soil so I had to brake em out of the cubes and buried em best I could. The Ethos was phased out for outdoor lighting by a good growmie who gifted her to me.How did you start them? What kind of light timing have they been under?
That was my position as well. I figured in my particular area as long as it stays above 40 I can keep most of my potted stuff alive with confidence. Everything in the ground is experimental as I'm not completely confident in my ability in the particular climate so I figured the more I grew the more I'd learn about my land. I'm hoping for just one shock but if I get nothing then to science goes the spoils. That's a good question.... @Tht_Blk_Guy27 It might be a bit early? I've we're keeping it a buck, half of it won't fit in the tent and I couldn't in good conscience squeeze the life out of em. So outside allowed me to both give them better life and learn about/experiment with my abilityThat's a good question.... @Tht_Blk_Guy27 It might be a bit early? @Tht_Blk_Guy27 The max day length at the Summer solstice in June is 14.34 hours. If you take a plant from 24/0, 20/4, even 18/6 and shock it by shortening the day length to the length of the longest day of the year, sometimes they will flower. If the plant is mature enough to flower and you put it outside now, it will def start to flower, but Like @DoubleAtotheRON said, it will revert to veg, and the growth looks stunted and weird for a few weeks while it recovers. That's a good question.... @Tht_Blk_Guy27 It might be a bit early?
