I usually get 1/4! mind you I dont use the scale anymore.
I was gonna say that you probably like your pot wetter than me but you also said you were starting the cure at 56% RH. When I used the RH meter a while back I would always try to start the cure below 65 but as close to 65 as I could. And slowly decrease it below 60. Also you have a better reading when you keep the jar close for 48hours. You might want to consider starting the curing process above 60% because if you go below 55%, it's too dry for the curing process to take place.
Now that was when I used to use the RH meter now I just go by feel and hope for the best!

This freezer method of curing you speak of sounds interesting, I've only ever done regular curing. I'm not trying to sell y'all anything just an idea but herb preserve jars really are amazing for keeping smoke long term, I cured mine in them this year too and it just keeps tasting better the longer it sits lol. I'm no curing master or anything but they really are cool, herbpreserve.com if wanna checkem out

man that's cool if you harvest 1 plant every 6 months, but man it's way too expensive haha. I paid a few dollars for my glass jars at the thrift-store and I bought new caps. That was my first set of glass jars the other I got on sale at walmart. I try not to go there but ...

The way I look at it is that its an investment just like any other, are they expensive? Hell yeah, but if you take care of them they last a lifetime, not to mention they treat their customers like a business should. 1 of of my jars took 2 days longer than expected to arrive so they gave me a free 1. Customer service couldn't have been nicer, so I try to pass along the generosity and reccomend them when I can

They look like really nice jars, but I could get 3-4 cases of 12, 2L jars from Wal-mart for that price.... :/

I just use plain old Mason jars... they hold their seal perfectly.

I love the way they're growing so far, so bushy; I don't forsee any problems filling in the scrog screen LOL.

Got a jar of C99 in the freezer now. The rest is still drying a bit, going to jar it up in a few days.

I use same mason jars too. Eventually after a couple years the seal does wear out. Remember to clean your jars. When new and between harvests or what ever. The smell and even moisture can eventually absorb into the glass. I.swap jars every few days during cure for that reason. Sometimes jars can make your buds smell worst of not clean.
