Omg...I have no clue what I'm doing...

Awe.....thanks. makes me feel so much better. I was afraid I totally ruined this whole batch and it was stressing me out. Now I'm just waiting to see some buds. How long into flowering before they show?

The only issue I can see is the tops look a bit yellow. Does this only happen when you don't feed it? Is this very limey soil? What I see is iron deficiency from too much lime, and when you feed it, it gets a shot of iron. This is only a guess based on not knowing much about the soil. It's hard to track down and fix soil issues so I wouldn't go crazy trying to fix it unless it gets worse.

I have had some issued with yellowing leaves. They look dead if I try to skip a day without watering. I mean like....all the pretty leaves completely lying down. I use ffof and happy frog by Fox farm. I need to learn when and what to trim. Also lollipopping and topping. So much to learn....just when I think I might have it down....boom there's something else.

New one on me...plant(s) very healthy. But, feeding and watering daily ...I know the soil you are using and they are good products....What nutes are you using and how long after transplant did you start feeding?

It's called if you use coco or a soil that doesn't hold water at all and and have strains that eat nutes for days you water everyday some do it on purpose to pump food as much as they can. Need url's???
To the poster I believe your problem is too much heat or low humidity making the water evaporate quicker that or your soil doesn't have what it needs to store water like peat moss or you just need to water more when you water fully saturate every plant until you get run off. Sometimes way to much air circulation will cause soil to dry out quicker even without low humidity. Also make sure you don't have fan directly pointing at your soil.

I am using general organics go box...following the box instructions so I'm mixing like 4 different things into the water. I germinated 4/11 planted 4/13 and transplanted to pots 5/7 and that's when I started feeding.

Went to 12/12 on 5/27 and they've doubled in size since then.

ok, so just to get this straight in my head...5 weeks ago you transplanted into 5 gallons of FFOF/FFHF mix and then you began full strength feeding and watering daily with GH Go box?

i am mystified how those plants aren't fried like eggs. hot soil with nutes on top of it...daily?

It is also called...READ THE THREAD...the op is using FF soil...not coco...not peat... FF soil, which holds plenty of water.

And a third way to call it, is that you are an pompous ass.

Well at first I only fed and watered every few days.

I agree that you plants look great. Obviously what you have been doing is working. The only thing I would say is that if you don't like watering everyday you can give each plant more water than a gallon between the 5 of them. I grow in 3 gallon smart pots in a scrog and water until I see some runoff from the bottom of the pot. That takes 1 gallon per plant to achieve. I then water every 3 or 4 days and feed once a week. Just a thought, great job so far!

Here is how my ladies look at day 53 of flower. Sorry my camera sucks but you can see they are stacking up some fat hard bugs.

They are root bound and need to be up potted to bigger pots. You won't have to water so much then.

Do it now before they are heavy into flower.

Its easy. When they are dry just squeeze the sides of the pot. Put the stalk between your pointer and middle finger. Flip the pot over and the root ball should come out in one piece.

If you set the old pot into the new pot and fill with dirt you will have a perfect hole for the root ball.

Dude. Water until 20% run off or you will kill your plants.

That's why they are wilted. The soil can become hydrophobic.

If I'm not mistaken this is what you said? No? You were speaking in general about "a plant" not justneryka's plants or there soil???? Therefore I spoke "in general" back at you about MANY circumstances where this might be the case. You would get butt hurt real fast though and try to cover your tracks of being a major newb.

You need to water more at one time. You want a bunch to run out of the bottom of the pot.

Two reasons. One is to prevent salt buildup if using synthetics.

The other reason is proper watering of the soil. Watering a little at a time works for organic grows but you still have to do it right or you get dry spots in your soil that won't take water.

You can fix this two ways. Take some water without nutrients added and put a couple drops of dish soap in it. That breaks the water tension and allows the soil to absorb the water.

The other wah to fix it is pull the stopper to your bathtub or use a Rubbermaid tote. Set your pot(s) in there and fill to the point there is several inches of water in the bottom and let your plants sit in it for a few hours and let them wick it up until the soil is saturated.

Use water only for a while or you are going to kill them.

I second this. As I said before you need to make sure your soil fully soaks up water all of it from day one of transplant or the soil can create hydrophobic areas of soil that won't take in water anymore. Basically killing the roots in that area giving you all kinds of horrible results.

I believe I agree...just dunkin' and dodgin' my way to the Star....waaaaaay too far.

I disagree, 5 gal is plenty, plenty, like others have said,water till you have a little runoff, after that see how long it takes until next watering, may be a simple solution, your plants look great btw you are doing a good job dude

I had an outdoor plant do it. I watered and watered and it just kept looking worse and worse.

I got mad and dug it up. The whole center of the root ball was bone dry and wouldn't take water.
