One thing i fucking hate

There is a commercial for Walgreens advertising for people to "join the Walgreens family". At the end of the commercial it says "a drug free workplace".

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but Walgreens is a pharmacy. Pharmacies sell DRUGS. How can it be a "drugfree" workplace?

I Hate it when my friends who don't smoke, hang out with me when I'm high. They treat me like a retard, even though I am smarter than all of them. haha The biggest problem is I can't convince any of them to even try smoking... sucks ass...

I've found over here that SOO many people get upperty and give lectures when they find out you smoke normal cigs "You're gonna die - you know smoking causes lung cancer? - thank god you forgot your wallet coz you were going to buy cigarettes and burn your money..." all that shit drives me fucking crazy just coz smoking has been banned in pubs/clubs, the thing is it seems like when ANYONE on the street sees you smoking they look at you with disgust and theres always SOMEONE who'll say something...the thing they dont realise is that MOST people who don't smoke cigs are EXACTLY like that, so we get that reaction much more over here JUST BECAUSE there are a few more non-smokers than smokers now and they feel the law is on their side and ACT like what they're saying is actually going to make a difference to a smoker RATHER THAN make them secretly want to beat the crap out of the non-smoker for being downright insulting...

This thread is speaking the truth.....I smoked every day before class and I averaged a 4.0 all the way through college no problem to do so either. weed doesn't stop anyone from doing anything.
people stop themselves from doing things and blame it on weed.

One thing I hate is how these fuckin drug tests have crept in in the last 10 -15 yrs.They're totally worthless, discriminatory, and invade on an individual's 4th Ammendment rights...I say if someone is impaired on the job, let him/her go..But to have a positive test, result in not being hired, when all it shows is PAST use metabolites, is just plain wrong..Could have been from last night, 2 days ago, 2 weeks ago..
What the fuck has THIS country come to? Anyone agree?

I agree man. I just had to use that shit called quick fix and lie because I smoke pot. It isn't a dangerous job either and I don't smoke before work but I sure as hell do after work

See you dont understand what that person feels because you smoke weed.

I once was a downer of the Ganja back in the day so i have those exact thoughts stored in my memory.

People who dont smoke or do drugs (but typically drinks alcohol ) Feel that they dont know how your going to respond to everyday function. They dont know if your the guy who gets wierd and wigs out on people about judging you for smoking weed...Opps did i say that ...Lol But really dude someone who uses any drug is going to act differently when under the influence. You might think your the same person, but really you are thinking differently because of the massive amounts of dopamine in your brain from the weed/drugs/alcohol. So if your sober, your wondering "damn is dude fucking high? ..I better not fuck with him. He/she might do something inappropreate, or worse hurt me. Normal humans try to avoid confrontation at all costs. Its those idiots and psycho's out there that we really are trying to avoid, which inreturn floods over to the fact of not knowing how someone will react on a certain drug.

....Hell when im sober and someone is high (or sober for that fact) and gives me a dirty look, or if i just dont like their appearance ("dirty" looking) Ill just ignore them. Its my way of dealing with people. Maybe some people should do the same instead of judging someone they dont know, ...or about something they know nothing about.

everybody judges everybody and always will. Hell I judge people on various things but drug use is not one of them. I judge people on their character and personality. Somtimes I'm wrong but most often I'm not. The key lies with the person being judged to not give a fuck. Such a person will not be subject to so much judgment.

I hate it when people doused in perfume bitch about smoking, same carcinogens there, just a different delivery system....... doh.....
