Online clones- CCC (Canadian Clone Consulting) vs GTA Clones

Another online clone rip off it would seem. Another member here had recent issues as well.
Imo I'd be skeptical of folks selling off their best stuff. Why would anyone. Doesn't seem smart currently.
Sure selling clones is easy but are they really selling you the best....doubt it.

update to the girls -> all now in garbage. stay away from CCC
I'm assuming spider mites? I reported that I got them with my clones. Anyone buying clones should have quarantine spot to address the potential of nasty critters.

After a couple weeks with the Swarski and the other predator mites the spider mites are almost gone. Won't be running these in the flower room till I know for sure they're gone for good. Think I'll just dip into the seed collection for this run.

The pink kush is pretty damn good. Smells feully, earthy with a hint of sour berries and quite a strong buzz that is definitely on the hybrid side. Not quite couchlock, but you definitely won't be looking for shit to do. It is definitely a good cut of pink kush though.

The wedding cake is very nice also, smells like marijuana cake when you open the jar, but when you grind it up the stank comes out. Very dank, skunky with a stinging sharp marijuana stank. Tastes great, buzz is stronger than the pink on the indica side. I would wager a guess that this is not the jbeezy cut though.

As for the GTA Pink kush, which is the only smokable dope from them, is definitely not a kush. It's a straight up haze with foxtail buds and a smokey pineapple taste when smoked. It's not bad as far a buzz goes, it's quite strong and tastes pretty good. The rest was trash with cardboard terps and low frost. I will be making edibles out of that crap.

I'll snap some pics of some dried buds if I remember.

update:

they do not stand by their replacement policy or any fault for that matter.

i will not say what the issue was but growing for 30 years i know what i'm talking about.

yes they were quarantined so nothing effected years of work.

Good to hear you weren't affected other than the loss.

Sure wish you would elaborate on the problem, that really is what this thread is for.

Sorry the camera doesn't really do the frost much justice on the zoomed out shots. I assure you they are all frosty, maybe not the frontiest I've grown or seen, but respectable nonetheless. I've grown much better, but like I said, new lights, new genetics and new climate control stuff. There were a few minor snafus along the way, but a decent grow.

The pink kush from ccc weighed in at 280g for 1 plant.

The wedding cake weighed in at 275g for 1 plant

The pink kush from GTA weighed in at 212g. For 1 plant.

The rest was roughly a pound for the other 3 strains sitting in a trash bag waiting to be processed with the trim for edibles.

Pics are nice but make me laugh really. (Not yours or anyone else's pics) in particular.
It's just how in general we all like to see pics of weed. But yet what use is it really?
It's like picking carpeting from photographs.

I tend to agree, but with these actually being the cuts you purchase it can be useful to see whether the structure, size, quality etc... of the plants suits your personal taste or grow space. With seed pics there is no guarantee what genetic expression you will get with your purchase, so pics really only serve the purpose of seeing what everyone else got, not what you will get.

Buy yeah, in this Instagram and MOMs world, bag appeal is king because pics are all you have to go on. Point, click, pick up your buds/clones/seeds at the mailbox. I can say for sure with the amount of seeds I've burnt through and weed I've ordered online that only about 5% lives up to the pics, descriptions or hype associated with the products.

I will say this, you likely won't be finding that one of a kind, super rare gem of a plant at any clone company. I can also say that some of the excitement of finding that gem was lacking in this grow. I'm already more excited for what I find in my next seed run. I've scratched my buying clones itch, now back to what I love to do... popping seeds and exploring new shit.

Ya totally agree Burt........funny how if you google a strain and look at the images most of them look different.
Trusting pictures is a bit of a stretch unless you know the person.
But I agree....you gotta start somewhere.
I used to relay more on pics but as I've gotten older I don't have the same trust.
