Wow thats pretty cool considering te bad weather we had for all of July... What strains you using??

I too live in Ontario and am attempting my first outdoor grow from bagseed. A couple of my babies have purple flowers and I was starting to worry that there was a problem. So purple flowers are good?

Those plants look dynamite man.. gotta love the monsters especially and that purple tinge looks fuckin delicious. I hope for your sake that the 9 footer finishes in time.. looks like you might be settling for some premature bud on that baby.

That poor summer weather we had is gunna hamper a lot of grows in Ontario. ALL crops (corn/beans/grains/etc) are ATLEAST 1-2 weeks behind schedule, if not more.. I'm sure the same can be said about the outdoor weed crops.. and sadly, theres nothing we can do about it.

To the poster above.. I see a lot of purple when I grow outside in this climate. I dunno if it has something to do with the colder nights (thats what I kinda think) but I've grown the exact same strains indoors and outdoors.. saw a lot more purple in the flowers and stems in the outdoor grows and saw none indoors.

:peace:

finishing it cooler climate is wat is making it turn purple. very nice grow i missed this season :( planning to do my first outdoor grow next year.

i bet you can see that 10 footer from a plane

I bet you can also :blsmoke: but hey it's all part of the fun.. :bigjoint:

That'ss another good reason why you don't plant like 6 in the same spot... If you just got one it's alot harder to point out... They are more interested in cathing ppl who have larger gows not just the guy who has like 1 plant in the woods.. :D

I feel pretty safe as this is all personal and not to be sold afterwords..

Very nice I can't wait to see what the weight is when done. Please let us know.

Ya for sure I'll let you guys know I'll just post in this thread as opposed to creating a bunch of new ones...

Somebody had said the cold weather is what makes your plants turn purple.. I'm sure there's some truth to it but this stuff was a purple strain and not turned purple by the cooler weather... If it were the cold it's wouldn't be so purple as it was you'd see it more in the leaves as well... So plz don't kid yourselves in thinking this was cause of cold weather... lol almost sounds like the old wise mans tale where they place ice around the roots at the end to make em cold so that their weed would turn purple.. lol

Yea, I guess in my last post it was a little unclear.. Cooler climates might see a tinge of purple but definitely not to the extent of yours.. theres obviously some purple in the genetics.

:peace:

if you want purple grow purple kush, my plant has been flowering for 1 week and it is purpling more every day

Im in Ontario aswell and Im atleast 2 to 3 weeks behind last year i might have to take them a little early this year DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!
