So was working on the siding of my house when I hear a clay pot explode well it sounded like someone dropping rocks but either way, walked around the corner to see my damn Plant sitting there with half its pot on, half sitting on the ground under it haha.. Well wish me luck it was 2 weeks into flower and I'm guessing the root growth and the heat probably were too much for the Clay pot and I'm assuming it happened on a crack that I didn't see.. lol Transplanted her into a 50Gallon pot.. lets hope it lives... ill post some pics tomorrow I'm too beat after all that crap...

Note to self.. DONT USE CLAY POTS EVER AGAIN WTF WERE YOU THINKING....

Fuck clay, it fucks with ph big time, and really it's not stable as you've experienced
Use plastic or net pots.
Go get a 5 gallon bucket, drill holes in the bottom and sides, and that's it.
Good luck
Do you think he should keep it in the 50 gal so its not being transplanted yet again? Though, 50 gallons does seem super excessive.

The 50 Gal is an old grow tote i used to use when i was growing in Vancouver, its all drilled out, and its already in there. Im just gonna leave it where its at.

Only reason i used that Clay pot was the move i had and time otherwise i woulda wondered down to walmart and bought smart pots like i should have haha.

Lucky you were home when it blew. You could have been on your family reunion in Halifax.

Well, doesn't look too pissed off from the transplant into the grow tote, but it was 530 AM when I took that picture so I'm guessing she's a little limp looking due to that. I think the transplant worked out pretty good. lol
