left lane is a passing lane. Anyone that has ever driven long distances knows this. If you are camped in the left lane...you damn well be going signifigantly faster than the traffic on the right.
I cannot stand people that take their cars and park them in the left barely going above the speed limit. It's AS annoying (if not moreso) as that fucker in the joint circle who needs to tell a rambling story while holding the joint...yet he hasn't hit it yet.

yeah thats just being an asshole...if im going 100 who are u to play the police and try and make me slow down by blocking the lane so when i do switch lanes then cut you off to get back in the proper lane...you shit ur pants and hit the wall cause you cant drive or mad cause your life just sucks...

Those 542 miles are one way. Depending if I fly back or drive. Not counting the miles of Highway 20 and 405.
You are the cliche Cali driver that just doesn't get it. A true dolt. There's no argument because regardless you're in the wrong. You're not enforcing speeding laws by being the prudent tool thinking everyone should be going no faster than you. You're causing a traffic jam. Pay attention to people behind you and respectfully move. You're nothing but a moving road block who can't get this notion out of his thick skull that he's the king of the road.
Enjoy getting put in the dirt like all the others. Learn how to drive on a highway. You're not the only one on the road and your not a fucking cop.

Yeah, one asshole tried this on me and I fucked back harder. Sped up and repassed him once he tried to fuck with me and jammed him behind a truck for miles. After that he realized it was better he just continue to be on his speeding way...
I wonder if any of you folks that want me to move over so you can speed with reckless abandon have ever driven the 390 miles of I-10 through Arizona. They take your picture at 11 over and send you the ticket in the mail.
My 650+ miles on the I-5 are only one way as well, I also have to do 292 miles through Oregon, 390 through Arizona, and 170 through New Mexico. It gets kinda tiresome to move over for so many speeding fucks only to get jammed behind a slow mover in the right lane. I was done with that after about 4,000 miles. The last 900 I stood my ground and decided the speeders can go fuck themselves and pass on the right.

I don't think driving as fast as LEOs will allow is 'driving too slowly'. You are correct, I am just as much in the wrong as a speeder. The point is simply that I am not going to subject myself to the right lane and slow myself down so some asshole can blatantly speed.
As far as the fucker I jammed behind the truck, if he were in an emergency situation he wouldn't have slowed down to fuck with me. I stopped fucking with him once other traffic started approaching.

You don't want to subject yourself to the right lane for a few minutes just so some guy can keep his speed for hours? You state how far you drive, hopefully someone thinks the speed limit is law (and pulls the same shit you do) and holds you up for 600+ miles. Plus if they take pictures for 11 mph over then let them get a ticket, thats a better lesson than you're giving

I'll throw that charge of selfishness right back at you, along with alleging that you are unsafe and a danger to all motorists. Your speed is my business, we are both sharing the road and when you drive too fast you put safer folks in danger. Speed limits exist for a reason, and if you choose to ignore them, well, it'll come back around to you.

You should go back and read this thread. If I encounter a motorist doing only 5 over in the left lane and not getting over, I wait for the right lane to open up and pass them. It has never taken hours for the right lane to open up. Have you ever driven a few thousand miles on the interstate?

So 5 over is bad. Exactly 10 over is good? 12 over and THEY are an asshole. 15 over and they are an asshole douchebag. ONLY 10 over is acceptable...but 8 or 9 might be permitted by your lordship. Can you see this from outside your own head or is that not possible?
I have driven clear across America from coast to coast...twice. From Chicago to NYC and back about 10 times. 15 - 20 over is commonplace. If you want 5 - 10 over...stay in the right...occassionally pass on the left and get back into the right. EVERYONE but you knows this.

Some people have places to be. I usually am in the fast lane going faster than everyone else. When the right lane opens up I get over so that if there is anyone going faster than me they can pass me when the their is traffic ahead of me I get in the left lane to pass them and back over. Just because your going 10 MPH over the speed limit doesn't mean that everyone else should have to manuever around you when the right lane is open. Seriously, what's the big deal let them pass or go faster. I have noticed the likelyhood of getting pulled over for speeding while in the right lanes is unlikely while if driving in the fast lane while the right lane is open will get you pulled over in a heartbeat. Really stay out of the fast lane if you are traveling and enjoying the scenery other people see it everyday and want to get where they are going. Thanks

If you don't yield to faster moving traffic you are a knob end ,where I'm from the left is for travelling and the right for overtaking ,you overtake then move back into the travelling lane ,its people staying in the overtake lane that cause accidents where you get maybe 3 cars speeding on the overtake lane then someone pulls out and the first hits the brakes and the other 2 smash into the first ,don't be a bell end move to let the cars by

Question for you: How did the state of Arizona determine to give people speeding tickets with their photo enforcement zones at 11 over? Did they just arbitrarily pull this number out of their collective ass? Or is 10 over the universal maximum acceptable speed?
