so i have a 4x4 grolab tent in my living room and now that its getting cold i turned off my intake fan and i want to open the vents on the bottom of the tent and i guess a little light may get in...im in flower and idk if opening the vents may be too much for the plants during lights off...any suggestions?

I put a piece of metal duct with a 90 degree turn in my intake. Then I put some air filter stuff on the end to further prevent any from getting in.
Not sure why are bothering with an intake fan. Did you mean you are turning off exhaust? If you are keeping exhaust on and there is a fan in the intake spot that keeps the light out, just turn off the fan. It ought to still block light and the exhaust will still pull in air through it passively.
