Opinion of my first auto flowering attempt in SuperSoil?

This is my first test of an autoflower strain, Auto Assassin from Short Stuff Seeds. I actually bought the seeds from a dispensary so I'm not 100% on the genetics. This plant seems to be very small compared to what I've seen pictures of and I wanted someone else's opinion.

I started three seeds in rooting cubes and transplanted to Roots Coco Coir once the tap root was showing. I fed them Advanced Nutrients organic line until they were root bound and I could identify the sex. I took out two males and harvested their pollen for future projects, but my female I transplanted to a 3 gallon container with 50% SubCool's super soil and 50% Roots 707 soil.

After the transplant she stopped growing for about 4 days. The flowers formed, but the hairs stayed real small. Then the hairs started to stretch again. The flowers look like they're filling in now, but slowly.

The spacing between the buds is about 1", and it's only about 7.5" tall. There is a small tuft of bud at the bottom, the buds in the middle, and the poof at the top. The plants are 42 days old.

Does this look like OK growth? Did I stunt it by leaving it in the initial container too long? (1/2 gallon container) The roots didn't look bad, but they were wrapped around the bottom. I should have moved it a week earlier.

What do you all think?

I am also growing a SS-AA....mine is 34 days old and around 12" with some nice nuggs really filling in the stalk. After water soaking, I planted the seed into a solocup in Humboldt soil, then transplanted into a 4" pot at 20 day old where it will finish its term in my tent. BioBizz nutes all the way.
Yes, your AA appears stunted from something....since I use much smaller containers than you with no stunting, you've overwtered, overnuted or something....what lighting are you using....Mine's now under 550w hps 12/12 ....alongside several other strains in the same size pots....all are giving me some lush nuggs.

I started them under 6 t-5's in my veg area at 20 hours of light, then moved it to my 1000 watt MH system still running around 18 hours of light.

This is my Short Stuff Auto Assassin in SubCool's super soil. This plant seemed VERY small for some reason, but it has a decent little bud on it.

Here is my little one at 71 days from planting. It looks done to me, the trich's are nearly all cloudy, but oddly enough some still clear. It certainly filled out more than I expected, but I think I left it in the small container for too long, I should have gone right from seedling to the final pot, it probably would have filled in better. I still have 7 left and I already went through 2 males, so I should have a few more females try try again with. Next run I'm going to go right from seed to final pot and use two different containers to see if that makes a difference, one tall and deep, the other shorter and fatter.

Anyone who has run this strain, how did she come out?

looks like it will be some good smoke. i would've expected it to fill out a bit more though. my buddy ran a few easy ryders under 12/12 from about 4 weeks from seeds under a 400 . 1 yielded an oz. and a half, and the other two ran about 3/4 oz. i really think its hit or miss with the autos, but even under 20/4 i've heard alot of guys running autos 80+ days. The easys ran over 100 days and it was wierd cause even at that point there weren't many amber trichs. i def. think an earlier transplant would've given u some more size, but she looks good regardless. im not too familiar with short stuffs strains, but i'd say urs looks pretty close to done. I wanted to try thier russian rocket fuel. anyways nice job.

Yeah, I think that putting it in the final pot first is the way to go. Give it a chance to sink it's roots into the supersoil more before it starts flowering. Next run.

On this one, I keep waiting for the leaves to start to die off and it seems strong still. I'm tempted to let her keep running, make some really heavy hitting weed out of her.:bigjoint:

All shes's having is molasses and CalMag. Yeah, I think I'm gonna let her keep running for a bit more.

Good job.

Are you using cal/mag because of R/O water use, or do the plants just need it?

I can't +rep you yet again, but will as always.
