Opinions and Prefrences: RO, Distilled, or Tap water?

Add calmag everytime when using RO water.

Dont use distilled water, its bad
i only use distiled water, and its great. i dont know what you think the distilation process is, but water is naturally the best solvent...... distilled is just pure water. it gets rid of inorganic minerals. my plants love it.

though i only buy it because i thought the chlorine in tap would nutrient lock the plants. thats what i was told by my more experienced friend anyway.... but apparently i just need to let it sit for 24 hours and itll be fine.

It may work, but it isnt that good. It has a tendancy to become acidic when it is exposed to air. So because im educated, im a googler? It wouldnt be because im a 3rd generation dairy farmer could it? Nah, all us farmboys are just dum.

Now wheres my John Deere and Copenhagen?

yea i can definitely tell your new to growing weed..maybe u should stick to milking cows lol no but really distilled works..the best plant i ever grew got watered with distilled water more then 80% of the time..i never use JUST distilled water though and would recommend RO over distilled

ive never seen a problem on my plant that was caused by distilled water, been givin it to em for about 2 years... im not sayin its the best, but definately not bad lol

Check your tap water ppm. Mine comes out at 1200ppm, so i use RO. I live around alot of farm land, so it has their nutrient runoff in it. Your water supplier should have test results showing you whats in the water. I have no problems with using straight RO water, just add calmag to 250ppms.
wow that's a LOT. you shouldn't drink that...

Look tap water more often than not is useable to grow plants and only in a very toxic environment where PPM's are sky high would it even be necessary to to even think about an other option and your chlorine comment is just the type of information that causes people to spend money on WATER that they could use out of the tap. Tap water chlorine has no effect on nute lockout the only thing you would have to worry about is if you were growing organically you would need to let it sit over night so the very small amounts will dissipate so as not to kill any natural elements.

We are growing a weed that grows wild for Christ sakes you don't see nature bringing distilled water to the plants do you?

Noob to coco. A dairy is where you milk cows, a farm is where you raise animals and farm the land (grow plants)
