Check the run off after watering, you might be surprised. I used to think if i watered with ph`d water my soil was ph`d correct. But once that water hits that soil all kinds of reations happen and take that ph way up or way down. If you dont know whats happen in the run off you can have all kinds of problems. It took me a while to figure it out. Adding a little dolemite can help stabilize your medium. Good luck

DO NOT WATER WITH TAP! unless you live in the boonies where they dont load the tap with crap chemicals...and letting the water sit out for a day doesnt do anything..the ppm's in my tap water are about 580! and thats where most of my problems were. now i use r/o water or spring water only, and i havent had a problem....make sure to check pH.

when feeding your plant nutes...less is always better. dont follow what the directions say..use about 1/3-1/2 of what they tell you.

if your leaves are clawing, you're feeding it too much. flush for a week with good water, and you'll see a better healthy plant.

take excellent care of your lady, and she will take care of you at harvest time.

Thx smokey, Im actually busy saving a bit for a good RO system Our tap water isn't bad actually at ppm of 280-290 and ph is neutral 7 but I hear you on the bad chems. The strange thing is it's only my one plant having this issue, the others are awesome!

I have just flushed all my plants including the sickly one with fresh rain water. Don't want this shit happening to the rest of them too. The flushing seems to be working!! The remaining fan leaves aren't getting affected and they are flattening out nicely. So to all who have similar problems and know the ph is fine and no pests, it's probably salt buildup! I've only seen a difference after 3 flushes.

i also hd this problem, stop the nutes and just use tap, it worked for me only few weeks left

You caught me just in time thankfully. I was under the misinformation that permethrin was organic. I sprayed with neem not permethrin!!! Sorry about that silly mistake. By the looks of it, permethrin is some pretty nasty stuff. To top it off, I'm an indoor grower - it would be insane to consider spraying that stuff in one's own home! Thank you for your well founded concern about me potentially spraying that stuff about.

Oh, about the confusion: - I have some plants that are in veg and some other ones in the seedling stage - it's been a few days and it look like manual removal of the pests was all it needed, but I am keeping a vigillant eye on them. Mercifully, my MJ is not near where the infected plants are at all.

Hey. Glad I could give you a headsup. Permethrin is nasty stuff by what i've read up, I don't think it would of went down a good smoke
You can take em off with your hands first but a few neem oil sprays and you'll help get rid of larvae too, which will insure the future of the plant.
It's definitely a great hobby, I know of a few ppl that don't toke anymore but still grow. I was meaning one can drive yourself "mad" when you start over anylizing everything when, in fact usually the problem is a simple one.
