I REALLY hope you aren't spraying the plants with permethrin??? Yeah preditor insects can also sort you infestation it's real good way to do it without hurting with chems.
You caught me just in time thankfully. I was under the misinformation that permethrin was organic. I sprayed with neem not permethrin!!! Sorry about that silly mistake. By the looks of it, permethrin is some
pretty nasty stuff. To top it off, I'm an indoor grower - it would be insane to consider spraying that stuff
in one's own home! Thank you for your well founded concern about me potentially spraying that stuff about.
Oh, about the confusion: - I have some plants that are in veg and some other ones in the seedling stage - it's been a few days and it look like manual removal of the pests was all it needed, but I am keeping a vigillant eye on them. Mercifully, my MJ is not near where the infected plants are at all.
A person can drive yourself mad with this hobby, just keep it as simple as possible for yourself in the beginning (kinda hard starting with thrips) but yeah.
You can pm me any time for help or advice if you need it and I will try help.
Best of luck to you.
Yeah, but it's a fun kind of madness, don't ya think?
Thank you so much for your offer of help! (I + rep'd you for that.) For all my inexperience with this specific plant - I think your course of action is the right one, so take that consensus for what it's worth. As always, good luck!
I have just flushed all my plants including the sickly one with fresh rain water. Don't want this shit happening to the rest of them too. The flushing seems to be working!! The remaining fan leaves aren't getting affected and they are flattening out nicely. So to all who have similar problems and know the ph is fine and no pests, it's probably salt buildup! I've only seen a difference after 3 flushes.
Awesome, you solved it! I'm so glad, thank you for sharing that info with us.
