Optic Slim 650s or ROI-E720?

Honestly I was stuck between the 650 S and the photo tech 1000w CO2 pro…… what I might do in the future is get away from tent growing and just set up two 7 gal pots coco dtw…… in an open room and the 650s over one plant and the 1000w over the other……. As nice as a 650 S is no grow light on the market and I mean no grow light on the market will cover a 5 x 5 area more evenly then the photo tech 1000w CO2 pro….. that light will hit the back corners with well over 700 PPFD other grow lights struggle to break five in those back corners…… so if you’re going 5 x 5 I go with the thousand watter……. However I did see an update on optic LEDs website stating that 2.8 g per why is achievable without light now I’m assuming that that number came from a facility that had a shit ton of those lights on the ceiling and took them an average of the entire grow divided by the number of lights I don’t see that light pulling over 4 pounds in a tent I could be wrong but unless someone has pictures to prove it I’m calling shenanigans

So...
I have been running two of the 650s for a few runs now. Seems like a great purchase so far except...
I had the power go off twice now during the lights ‘off ‘ cycle. When it came back on the lights came on too, even though the master controller had the timer set to be off.
customer service says I need to have back up power to the whole grow to avoid this. This doesn’t seem right. Anyone else seeing this?
I thought I remember seeing someone posting somewhere a video of a back up power source being added to the master controller...

I also have 2 650s i can only compare them to my optic 6 gen 4s i personally like them both. As for the dimmer controller i had a problem also but besides having to send it back on my own dime its cool they'll exchange it for a new 1....P.S. 1st grow pics from week 6

A small APC battery backup hooked to your controller will solve your issue...I gave like 45 dollars for mine... this will keep your controller on your settings.... kind of a design flaw in the controller doesn’t have a memory should the power go out.

Thanks for the reply.
The Master Controller didn’t just lose its memory. It also decided to turn the lights back on when power was restored. This happened twice during the dark cycle! Maybe I got some defective units.
Customer service tells me that a back up on the MC won’t do it and that I need to install back up generators for the entire facility to prevent this.
I’ll look into the back up power for the MC, it’s a cheap enough fix.

i dont get into posting yields...because too many of the Master Growers get all butt hurt and start calling bullshit....but i will say...I am NOT close to 4 pounds per light...not even in the same ballpark my friend.

I’m pretty sure that the claims of 4 lbs and the likes are just one or two plants under one or two lights, and those are meticulously cared for start to finish. Probably not realistic in a larger grow.
How nice would it be to get 16 plants under one light and get 4 lbs off of each one?!
Lol!
Optic customer service tells me that I am the only one that has ever brought this controller issue up.
