IMG_2530.JPG just looking at some options and how I'd best use what I have in a 4x4 tent?

I have
6x 72v cxb3590 3k 90cri and 3x 36v with 133x70 pin fin heat sinks.
Also have 2 Samsung 304 led boards on slate 1 heatsinks.
Drivers I have a hlg 185 1400a, hlg 120 1400a and 2 120 700a.

Also I have angelina reflectors and holders to use if needed.

Currently I have 3 rows of 3 with the boards between, it's set really for a1x1 but using in a 4x4, thinking maybe just spread it all out abit more.

I have the reflectors off but holders still on, I find if I lower it any lower than about 18 inches the tall plant goes all droopy. And this is at 30w per cob and 50w each board.

Options.....You have enough equipment to run two overall temps of color. Switchable in a way. You could replace the center three of the 3000k with 2400k or 2700k.

Run the 3000 in veg. Then run the 2700k in flower or a mix.

Other then that. I can't think of anything else. You've already got it.

I did make the light yes after being told I shouldn't be spoon fed I went and scoffed the lot haha.

Was thinking of removing the centre cob as I don't grow in the centre just 4 pots in my 4x4 with autos at the moment but have some photos veggie no so things will change but won't be doing a scrim or anything, do I lose light from the reflector holder? Should I leave them on invade I want to put a reflector over a shorter plant?

I need the same results atleast as my 600w hps or iv wasted a pretty penny on this light lol.

I only have a light meter and my tallest girl seems happy at 25000 lux anymore and she not happy. But still has lower leaves getting lighter.

Thanks for your opinions :)

I don't use reflectors. With no reflectors on the center COBs. The lights have a serious spread to the sides. Verses a reflector pointing it straight down in a cone shape. With the foot print of the light being tight at the top going larger as it reaches the floor. I prefer the light to bounce around.

No reflectors in a tent is perfect bro cuz light will reflect off walls.
Reflectors are good for open grow rooms to keep more light going down to plants:leaf:

haha great scoffing bro:clap:

Sweet, I keep reading no reflectors in a tent and no reflectors on the boards so makes sense. But would you leave the holders on just to keep the light from spreading too far out ir just remove everything just fully bare?

Thanks

All holders do is keep the Chip against the sink for heat extraction. COBs without reflectors are considered 'bare'.

Reflective walls prevent the light from running away. Having no use. The majority of the light is reflected back at the plant.

Yea I have the metal cxb holder but then have the extra bit for the ledil reflector, the reflector holder has a bit of a cone to it aswell but doesn't really sit flush either without a reflector attached.

Il remove them all and see how I get on thanks

Well. I just removed them, to get the same 25000lux at the top of my tallest plant I'd need the light about 8 inches lower by the looks of things. So may well be worth putting them back on but would they absorb any light as they are effectively pointing light straight down as they are straight sides not sloped
