Nice! When's the new OWO drop coming? They posted something on FB a while back about it going down in June. Just wondering. Digging the new additions! I've got a big order planned.. Just waiting for the Old World drop. Wanna swoop on some of that reduced price snowhigh gear too!! It's going to be hard choosing what to grow this winter.. Infinite space would be nice.. In a perfect world. Maybe I'll finally get around to winterizing my greenhouse. Double my flowering space. Ah the possibilities..
I pick up there gear in Portland aug 4th

Btw, @Old World Organics, if you ever need testers for ANY of your current or upcoming projects, PLEASE let me know! I'd love to help!
Hi there Sam! Thank you for your interest in our work. We are indeed seeking testers for several projects right now. Anyone interested can contact us through our Facebook account, or email us at info@old-world-organics.com to get set up!

For everyone waiting on the upcoming OWO drop, don't worry. We will be meeting up with Toby when he's in Portland on 8/4, as he mentioned in an earlier post. This drop will include our pure Kashmiri Sirnoo preservation project, as well as several other Himalayan landrace hybrids, such as Himalayan Headchanger, Trade Winds, and Karma Kush, just to name a few. We appreciate everyone's patience, and support! Stay tuned. Follow us on Facebook for updates on all of our latest preservation efforts!

@OregonEliteSeeds Super stocked about the Poison Girl I got from Snowhigh. I tried popping 4 of them with the water method and they haven't cracked in 5 days. I want to try again with some different methods, but wondering if you have any recommendations specific to this batch/strain?

Thanks!

p.s. Temps 75-80, pH 6-6.5, dark
p.s.s I ran Dutch Passions D.P. alongside with same conditions and all 4 popped in 12h.

What do your seeds look like? I just popped some landrace sativas myself, they were black & on the small side.

Now my ambient temps are 80-82 & that still wasn't enough. The breeder stated to germinate my seeds in tropical temps, so 75-80 is not cutting it.

I had to put the ziplock on top of my light & kept the ziplock inflated with air, that got them to pop. I was mad at 1st because I thought they were bunk seeds but I popped 5 of 7. I was quick in doing this though once I noticed nothing popped, if my seeds don't pop in a day or two I'm troubleshooting lol.

Thanks, I think I found the thread. I scraped the seams with a razor blade and squeeze-popped it as per Snow's recommendation, and then I tossed them in fresh water in the dark. I guess I'll see Tues evening if they're alive.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I'll try to increase the temperature the next time I germinate.

I wouldn't say the seeds are small, but definitely blonde (pic below).

They definitely look like mature seeds, thats not the problem.Only time I have had problems with them not cracking is old seeds or they got fungicided. And even when they get fungicide they should at least crack before that ever happens.
