Thanks for the advice duder but i think i want to stick with the cool tube. I like having the ability to put the light really close to the tops of my plants without burning them. I will definitely be sure to get rid of all those 90 angles in my ducting though!
Its been a while since iv been on so i think its time for a update! Not much has happened with my flowering plants, they are in their 7th week of flower though and looking good. Heres a few shots:

They will be done in 2 or 3 weeks so I have begun preparing the next round! I have never made a clone before... so before i risk losing my expensive genetics I decided to do a test round with my free seeds. This way I can get good at cloning with some risk free practice. On 4/20 I started germinating a fem Jack (Jack Herer x Edd Rosenthal), a fem MKage (MK Ultra x SAGE), a fem Blue Lemon Thai, and 4 bag seed strawberry coughs. Then today when I checked on them all had germinated except for the Strawberry Coughs. Im thinking they probably wont germ since they were pretty poorly cared for so I added another fem TNT Kush and fem Cluster to the germinating box (cardboard box on top of cable box) to replace them. Anyways, heres some pics of the seeds and then them in their cups in my new clone dome under a T5:

These new seeds will veg in my current setup, but in a month when they are ready to flower I will be upgrading my grow to a perpetual setup and they will go under a new 600 watt HPS in my new flower room. Then ill start another round of seeds and in a month put them into Flower Room #2. This way I can continuously use my veg room and harvest one flower room each month. Cant wait for that!
