Hey my friend.
How’s it growing.
I have my 5 gallon bucket with water in it and it will be about 24 hours to allow chlorine to evaporate and then I will air stone bubble water for an hour first to get more chlorine out. I was Gina go about 2 and 1/2 cups worm casting in cheesecloth or panty hose and hang in water and bubble 24 hours. I red to buy a food source in for microbial life will be better like molasses with no sulphur ? But I don’t have on hand. Also red I can use brown sugar or honey ? Hey behave both those can u guide me on which is better and how much if Iam brewing 2.5 gallons with 2and 1/2 cups work coasting Thanks bro. .

Cool man. OK. Sorry. Been out of it today. Ok. Get as many Worm castings as you can in that cloth. Yep, let it hang in the bucket for awhile. Honestly, even 30mins is fine. Every so often move it around like you would a tea bag. Molasses w no sulphur is a good choice. Honey is a good choice, but not store bought stuff, unless its completely raw. Raw honey is best. The microbes just want to eat sugar. If you have many cheese cloths. Fill up a few and let 2or3hang in the bucket

I thought I had to let it all aerate and brew for 24 hours. Your saying only 30 mins ??? And I don’t have any raw honey or molasses only store bought ? Shud I hold out til I get something to feed microbial life. ? Tommorow morning ?

I was guna try Gaia green. But what u suggest ? Cuz was guna make that purchase some what soon to prepare for outdoor. But I like what your teaching me so I will listen. Which dry amendments go good with ffof.

yeah 24hrs is great. 30mins if time pressed is all. If you only have store bought, its fine. Dont need a lot either. Like 1tablespoon per gal

Dry amendments-Pumice stone, Sawdust, stone dust, and ashes from oak wood, 10% coco choir, 4.5lbs of EWCastings in a 5 gallon fabric pot ;) is nice ratio, Got any nature around you, pine trees specifically?

So Iam guna make 2.5 gallons cuz I will give most it to the yellow plant but i assume i shud give some to the others aswell. It can only help ? Is that right ? And for that much tea only mix 1 tablespoon of honey In water ? Do I put honey in at the end of the 24 hours or when ?

Add it all now. Yep. give it to them all. 2.5gallons- So add 1tablespoons only (start there my man) Since its not raw and you dont want just slaps of sugar being chucked in there.

I appreciate it I will start it all up in couple hours due to I want to leave water out for full 24 hours to evaporate the chlorine from tap water I red that it will hurt microbial life. But I will definitely keep u palates. Thanks again HL42. So those items u suggest will help ffof not compact ?

Yes. Pumice stone is great for aeration. Also creates nice little spots for microbial life. Think space=oxygen in the soil.

Yep mix pine needles/cones/twigs, in the soil after cooling. Keep any eye on it in the oven! Its wood in the oven lol Keep any eye on it! Add to your soil and let it sit for a few days. a week. Prepare all this so you can let your soil sit for a week if possible.

Too cold! Take a coffee mug, dip it in 5gal, heat a mug full of that up(microwave). dump it in till you reach a temp of at least 23-24celcius

Yeah. Same leaf same plants are beneficial. However, you still can continue will all of them.

Bring water ph down too

When do I heat it like this to that temp ? And if answer is at the start of everything to help promote microbial life. How do you maintain temp. Do I add some warm water every so often ? Every few hours ?
