It is amazing how much punishment cannabis can take. I had my Rainforest 36 pump a little of kilter and it drained out completely leaving my roots dry. I flushed the roots and added more water and after a couple weeks they recovered. Good job anhedonia!

I guess 6 of them werent dead. I fixed the spinner, sprayed what I thought were dead clones just to see if anything will happen. 12 hours without any water spells death for a little cutting for sure Well checked my aero cloner 6 hrs later and I had 6 clones standing streight up out of the eight I took. pretty amazing. So I got 1 orange bud 2 spoetnik#1 and 3 white berry, not bad. I guess only the strong survive.

hey fella seems an age since i bin online! sorry to hear bout the trouble with the cloner, they do tend to take a while with aero, i did notice u say u put clonex on them b4 u put them in! i use aero 4 my clones but i dont put anything on them i just stand mine up in the aeriated water, just wundrin weather ur roots r strugling to root through the blob of clonex! i have read that u can dilute the clonex 1mm per litre and use it to mist leaves while rooting apparently the guy swears by it! also u dont need to give um 24/7 light as they tend to root beta on 18/6 hope this helps
next time i pull clones i am going without the rooting hormone. it screwed my ph up big time and has really stunted any root growth...

i dont know anything bout changn the ph! and im just guessn but it could be that the clonex is havn the reverse affect! u put them in the aero to giv them oxygen, so y try to suffocate them with clonex!

Changed the res water this morning and after 5 days no signs of rooting in the daisy cloner. I'll check the oasis wedges on tuesday. Got slime problems in the aero so Im buying a bottle of hygrozyme tomorrow.

That slime you see is one of the reasons you don't have more success cloning. Get some H2O2 35% and run it at 1/7ml/L in your cloner/ That will keep the bacteria from developing. We want to grow roots not fungus.

Second. You should trim your clones a little better. If you take 5-6" clones and then remove all leaves but the top set the closes can use their energy to set roots not keep leaves alive.

Third. Water temp when cloning is a big deal. Aquarium heater that keep res at 78F are cheap at walmart.

Keep it up man. Trial and error can sometimes be invaluable. You may want to check out the cloning thread that is stickyed on the hydro/aero section by Al B Fuct. Al uses RW for clones but his method of cutting will serve you well.

Get Fuct  and your clones will never look better. :weed:

I can't take the credit for that. Al B Fuct was a cloning guru kiss-assand i got everything I know from him.

SOG plants normally finish 24-30" tall.

well my first cloning experence with a raft rooter looks like it is going to have a 100% success rate. it took longer than i was expecting definately, but they are all alive and starting to really perk up

no more powdered rooting hormone in my bubbler!

I put 4 new healthy growing clones into thier 2 week veg on the 14th under a 400 MH. The 2 orange bud clones I put in on the first is already losing all its fan leaves. The ones put in on te 14th still look good though. But if they turn yellow again for no reason I might just throw in the towel. I cant afford to be running all these lights and not get any returns. Just growing sick plants. Its depressing.
The only thing that seems to be going for me is that I get fully rooted whiteberry clons in 11 days that continue to grow and dont slow down. And my vegging mother plants look great.

Sorry to hear your trouble, man. Bfore you throw in the towel you should attempt non-organic nutes. I know people say they make the taste better but they can cause problems if all the right bacteria is not present to break down the materials in to usable NPK for the plants. If you are tied to the hand water in pots idea, go with hempy buckets. It does not get easier. Just do a search for hempy buckets on this site or google for more info.

Just a quick announcement: I ordered T.H. seeds the Hog (1st place 2002 indica category cc) so Ill be germing at least 5 beans to ensure I get the bad breath/armpit smelling hogs breath pheno. Even if I only get 1 out of 10 I think it should be worth it.

sounds like transplant shock. I had the same problem on my current mother's finest grow. they looked great under the floros in the cloner but when I transplanted them and put them under the 400W MH the shriveled up and dropped all their leaves. fortunately they came back and are doing well now. I am thinking I gave them too much nutrient too fast.

well, when I transplant from rooted clone in oasis to 6" container I sprinkle some roots oregonism beneficials on the roots, put them streight into FF OF and give them a dose of root juice along with a normal dose of EJ 2-1-1 and big bloom. That seems like plenty for a rooted clon to succesfully thrive. I water them PH'd tap water and put them under a t5 for 2 weeks to get a good start thenveg under a 400 MH for 2 weeks. They do fine. But mainly eerything goes bad when I put them under 12/12.

Seeds came in the mail today. Put 6 into shot glass with water to be imbibed. I hope to get the hogs breath pheno out of the 6. Im pretty stoked to be adding the hog to my perpetual.

my clones are now growing like weeds! hehe. they took way longer to get going in my raft rooter, but after i added some b'cuzz root, liquid karma, hygrozyme and a little pure blend pro grow they really started to grow like crazy. they are still in the raft rooter bubble system and loving it. i am going to make sure from now on that i have super hearty clones that are totally thriving with healthy root balls before i put them into soil

by letting my clones go just a couple weeks longer and adding some goodies to the water they absolutely love it
