well i forgot to look up. seems that when this started the forest canopy was clear and not many leaves were on the branches. my plants were getting plenty of sun. the soil was nutritious and water wasn't an issue. now though, the trees seem to have thickened up and sunlight is barely getting to them. i've come at a standstill. my first two plants need to be moved, they haven't grown at all in a week. my third though is growing slightly so i take it that means its getting evening sun and a little light through the breaks on the tree tops. Should i move the third? i'll take pics tomorrow when i decide since it means having to give it a pot and water it

im out, all three are stunted and and i don't want to kill them by transplanting from the soil into a pot. #1 and #2 haven't shown any sign of growth and i last checked on them 20 minutes ago and #3 grew 1 more node but in 6-7 days. i don't know if thats normal or not but it seems slow. #3 has the baby leaves and 3 more nodes of ganj shaped leaves and id estimate it at being 7-10 inches tall so its root system prolly goes down far and wide. Good luck everyone else

is anyone still in this competition lol? havent seen picture updates in a while from anyone but myself.

By the way, my other kahuna showed its sex and it was male = (. O well the other one is female so ill get some clones from that one. But im replacing the kahuna with a plant I started 3 weeks ago, ill have a picture of it soon.

If anyone still wants to be in this competition let me know, because I feel like im competing against myself now, and in that case.... I think I may have a shot at winning = )

lol well for the sake of competition i'll risk the transplant and today i'll put my biggest plant in the direct sunlight along with my other ones i started inside. tell me if this sounds about right for transplanting

1. take a small garden shovel and drive it 6-7 inches from the stem at all directions
2. lift the patch
3. collect more soil from the patch in a bag
4. dig a new hole and pour in collected soil
5. set the patch
6. water?

Sounds like moving any other plant in my other gardens ... why wouldnt it work? ... only thing i believe is a slight stunt of growth shock maybe

heres my outdoor competition plants.

the first one is my biggest, you can't really see from the pic but its over 2ft tall.

The middle pic has plants 2 & 3.

The last pic is the one I topped, so it looks like 2 plants in 1 pot.

I got about 8 other plants, but they are too small to enter and such.

for first time growers, me and Gilfman seem to be doing great.

I thought it would be a hell of a lot harder than it really is. My only problem is finding easy to access, well hidden, well lighted areas. I am limited to a handful of places

ha woo! .. growing it is the easiest part .. checking, finding a spot, sneakin shit without getting caught, not getting busted, etc ... thats the hard shit

Not for me, I live in the Southeastern states. and It is not a super populated area, and my only neighbor is a fat old woman who rarely leaaves her house. So I can get all I need up to my plants w/o anybody noticing. And since I am just growing a plants 'here and there' in the woods the helicopters can't see them. Yeah the plants can be seen w/ infrared, but only if grown in plots, otherwise they only are as hot as the surrounding area. And as far as I know they are off my property, so I wouldn't be the first to be questioned.

I wanna go up and take pics off them, then smoke another bowl.
