If you have guns in the house it is your responsibility to ensure that everyone in the house knows how to safely deal with them. Whether that means teaching to leave alone or how to proficiently use one is up to the head of the household imo.

The safe use of a firearm is knowing when to not use it too. If someone is challenged in a way where they can't make rational decisions then their training on the proper use of a firearm is to report it to someone who CAN take care of it.

i think the mistake was most immediately was guns not locked safely away when not in use or being carried (that would have prevented the oregon shooting too, simple gun control) and of lesser immediacy the unfettered and easy access to guns. some minimal controls could have prevented a lot of deaths.

but i forgot, you jerk off to the second amendment and then rub the jizz in your hair while rawn pawl does the same thing then you stick your heads together and wait for the jism to dry and then play a game of "break the hold". fun, but painful.

We don't have mass shootings in the UK
And we have gun licence laws that seem to work
But ppl still shoot guns at clubs and hunting etc
Acquiring a licence involves background checks etc. .
Our street police are not armed with guns but we have armed response units
Surely lessons could be learned or shared.

The level of gun control i believe in is that i should control who accesses my guns. Secondly, i should be able to control any gun i have so as to effectively and safely employ it.
