Pablo's Socal Balcony Grow

hahaha thats funny
well in that case I'm still gonna stick with them...only im gonna call them what they are - the Mataro Blue, or the La Blanca.

Man those looks amazing! Especially the one already harvested. I can't wait to start some autos.

Cool, thanks Machnak. Definitely try them out.

A brief search suggests that those UFO seeds take a good 90 days from seed to harvest. That might be a bit too long, as that would put harvest around late November. It's doable, tho.

Awesome, I may do a few outside but I could always do them indoor with the rest of my ladies. :-)

I have a bunch of some Low Life Hindu Kush x AK47 Autos I could use...and a few free UFO Autos. :weed:

Nice, that's how I got the UFO Autos - free! I'm gonna have to save them until next season.

I think I'm going to germinate either an Easyryder (awesome smoke) which I know will be done in 70 days, or the Advanced Seeds Sweet Dwarf. Or both. After researching the remaining seeds, it appears they will take a bit longer, and will benefit from the longer days of summer (hopefully) next season.

Kush was fed with Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom.

Big Devil and Diesel Ryder were fed with plain water and a bit of molasses.

Updated pics of the Kush.

yeah summer is finally here, haha August 24th - nearing fall - and summer has just arrived.

Whats up Pablo, just stepping in to check out your girls.

Happy toking

After scratching my head and thinking about it, I decided to germinate another Diesel Ryder and a Blueberry. I'll keep the other strains for next season. I like the looks of my current Diesel Ryder, and the yield on my last Blueberry was low.

The Blueberry is still curing and does have a slightly fruity smell to it. The Big Devil has more of a spicy/piney smell and is the most pungent. The Top 69 doesn't smell much like anything. I haven't tried smoking any of them yet.

Oh, me and some friends tried the Top 69. We were disappointed. Not very strong compared to everything else I've grown. Bummer, because that was my largest producing plant. It was a very slow developing mellow buzz. It's been curing since August 6.

Hmm thats a bummer, any reason why she wasnt as potent?? maybe a bad pheno, or do you think it is the strain overall?

Bill, I haven't found a single journal or real time photo of one of these. That should have been a clue. From the website:

Sex : Feminized
Type : Ruderalis
Flowering : Autoflowering
Genetics :
Flowering Time : Short, Medium
Outdoor Harvest : april to november
Height : Short, Medium
THC Level : 16%
Characteristics : String and sweet

Maybe 16% isn't very strong compared to what I've been smoking? But that, combined with the lack of smell, makes this a thumbs down. So far, anyways.

make some butter :)

make some butter :)

That crossed my mind as I started saving all the little sugar leaves too. I've made some very potent brownies before, but I'm not a big fan. The high lasts too long for me. This may just be the weed I give away whenever my friend wants some.

Here's the Diesel Ryder at day 45.
