panic attack material for salt farmers :)

love it, should see mine lol, them white bugs i have in masses, also mighty mites reds in swarms, springtails and another 3 bugs i feed up on avacado,
somany mites when i come in the room they all get on the pots,

funny fact tho,,,they wont go on living plants unless there is bugs, then they wil kil em even spider mite, but if you bend a leaf over to the soil no 1 will touch it, SNAP that leaf off and instantly they will cover it lol , bloody mental,

the dragonfly website said hypoasismites only stay for 4 weeks then go, ive had them 3 years and growing populated a few other grow beds too with em ,

pot worms and normal tiger worms too ofc lol, living soil is awsome my weed feels PGR hard haha
 
yeah organic soil rocks i actually had the mites for years too my bin was almost out of use for a year i just started feeding it again and they just started colonizing again. i need to up my worm count too, they have been neglected my friend :) but i see eggs everywhere now so they’ll repopulate soon. so will the hypoaspis. i used to have so many as you said there would be a white moving layer on anything organic but we’re getting there. i’m sure there are springtails too they’re just so small to see and this is literally only a handful of compost in a glass :) but i’m sure they’re there cause they jump up and down in the trays when i water. and yeah hypoaspis never ever hurts your plant i actually posted a thread about that too, don’t kill hypoaspis they’re the good guys :)

well anyway yay for biodiversity

haha i wouldnt think hypoaspis would bite people. what have you done to them bro i think its personal i think they are pissed at you for some reason :D
 
Orbatid mites are excellent composters too. I have high populations in all my vermi farms. They seem to prefer acidic food sources. But one the mite populations get too high, then I'll try to make the pH of things more neutral to cater to the worms. Mites will always come back when conditions are favorable.

got pics? mites are cool but only the beneficial ones mites that eats your plants are assholes :D
