Party Cup Grow Off! (New and Improved w/ Prizes)

OOOOK,

finally back to civilization .... after being on vacation in the mountains for a week... It was great !

I flipped the switch about 2 weeks ago.... left last week... in hopes that my sister would be genital with the girls...... This is what i came home to.

5 males, and that one on the end had some fuckin super seed genes goin on.... they were the prettiest plants i have ever had to cut down... lol.. but they arn't doin me any good.... so here are my two cup entries.

Thank GOD my two cup entries ended up being Fems !!!!!!! all of my plants just freekin exploded during the week i was gone.. I guess she took good care of them... for someone who really doesn't know what to look for.

Yea, I was a bit sad ...... I really wish i had more Fems..... next time I'm gonna Germ like 50 and hope I get 10 Fems..... growing in small places makes for small plants.... and small everythign else... I just want to get an ounce outta my Cab once... not lookin to good this go round.

Clones man, Clones! only easy way to get fems like that

Looking good though...glad to here your entries are girls!

Not that I'm being lazy ......................... ok... I am ......lol

Got any good links on cloning? I just might have to try that..... I have a really short veg period, if at all... whats the earliest you can take clones?

Wal-mart has some cloning powder called Take Root by Schultze's get some of that!

Most people clone during veg, but I however like to clone during flower. Makes for great bud structure and helps cut down veg time a whole bunch. All I do when I clone is cut the growths I want to root and let them soak in some regular tap water for about 30 minutes. Then I cut a 45 at the lowest node (Cutting growth right below a node makes this much easier), after that I scrape all of the "skin" off of the stem where I want roots, then dip in the powder. Lastly, just stick her in some soil and watch her grow. Most of my cuttings I havn't needed a dome for at all, but if you get some real flimsy cuttings you might need to give them some humidity. (My veg box stays at 50% humidity and temps reach 90-94 regularly.) Hope that helps. &#8730; Make sure your soil stays nice and moist within a 2 inch Diameter of the stem

No problem....you don't even need the rooting powder if you don't want, as long as you keep the soil moist they will grow roots....just takes a little longer. Mine have taken as long as 3-4 weeks to root. Quickest root time was around 8 days. (lights on 18/6)
 
Wo0t! I'll be ready for an update in a day or 2....still no sign of pre-flowers. My guess is it'll happen tomorrow or Friday.
