Hey V, thanks for checking out Sassy! She is a female:) I'm so thrill, after Baby turned out to be male, my first plant and all, I was a little discouraged. Now I just have to get through my first grow!

Day 27 Flowering: July 24, 2010

Sassy has been flowering for 4 weeks (on July 25, 2010), I pH watered her on July 23, 2010 and she looks great. Sassy has a lot of bud sites (I LST the hell out of her) and more growing. I took care of the heat stress by turning off the fan I had blowing in front of my pc case. The humidity is somewhat high, 50-69 I have to work on that. The temp is 77-79 at lights off and 79-84 with lights on. Here's some pics:

Day 33 Flowering: July 30, 2010

I decided to use the defoliation technique because Sassy is a sativa and she was very bushy. She will probably flower for 10-12 weeks, my pc case is 18 inches tall. I cut all the fan leafs that blocked bud sites. Here are pics of before and after the defoliation.

What's up Napa, how is the new grow coming ? You know I have to check upon your grow. Thanks for checking up on Sassy. I did not know I had a sativa on my hands, she will flower forever, so I have to use techniques that will keep Sassy short and get the greatest amount of weed!

Here's an update of Sassy, I gave her a good watering with nutes and she loved it. Here's some pics of Sassy after she got her fan leaves removed.

Day 42 Flowering: August 8, 2010

I cloned Sassy, might as well have another female and pH watered her. Here's updated pics.

Hey CHIEF.
I think she's a bit droopy because she wants a bigger pot. You don't have to make it deeper as long as it's a bit wider and longer so the roots can stretch a bit more. She'll perk right up.
Sativas do need more rootspace, that's why I concentrate on indica dominant strains.

Hey V, what's going on in your world of growing? I did what you suggested and put Sassy in a larger pot, I just pulled her out of the old pot (dirt and all) and place the whole thing in a new pot without touching or disrupting the roots. I put some more soil in the bottom of the new pot and a little bit on top of Sassy.

I just do exactly the same when I'm repotting. Did she look a little rootbound?
I'm sure she will appreciate it.
